What a gem!
One of the very best VRBO experiences we have ever had. Liz is very accommodating and a perfect host. The property is just incredible; imagine your own 17th century villa amongst French vineyards with your own massive pool! We stayed here for four memorable nights and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The furnishings in this “castle” are all very high end (like the linens and the newly renovated kitchen and appliances) and there’s even air conditioning for all three massive bedrooms. Even though it’s a bit of an adventure getting there with some extremely tight medieval style narrow streets it’s totally worth it and we want to go back again for sure!

About the host

Liz and Paul were lucky enough to buy Mas de Soie in 2011, the same year they became parents to twins Tom and Olivia. Having spent many years of holidays at the house with friends and family, they are delighted to share it with other families to enjoy the same. Children will splash happily in the pool, the entire day could be whiled away on the terrace reading or taking the occasional dip to cool off. Evenings on the terrace enjoying a meal of local food and wine would round off a perfect day.

What makes this property unique

Beautiful rustic stone-walled building, plenty of character inside and out with beamed ceilings and even an old well in the kitchen (safely covered!).
Views out across the hamlet and trees, the house is in a quiet hamlet of Laucire which is part of the commune of Tornac. Perfect place for a quiet relaxing holiday with friends or family to restore and recharge.
