Close to everything. Nice place and quiet for a downtown area. Shopping right there along with restaurants with subway and train close. Well equipped. Comfortable bed but would like more towels.
Apartment is in a good location within an easy walk to Byres Road. Although not much “curb appeal”, once inside it is a suitable place to rest your head. Could probably use a little sprucing up with a paint job and some extra dusting but had all the amentities one would need (except a coffee maker!). We were really only there to sleep as there was so much to do during the day! Great price for a good location. Our daughter slept on the pull out couch- ok for one 24 year old but not suitable for a more mature couple.
Very good location for the University and exploring the West End. Easy access to city centre. Easy walk to Kelvin park and Botanical gardens. Very nice flat, spacious for 2 people, maybe a bit tight if four people were staying (but definitely possible). Quiet neighbourhood. The flat is well equipped. Clean overall but could do with a bit more attention to details ( dirty behind sofa). Would definitely recommend staying at this property. Really easy communication with host. Nice bakery opposite the flat. Fla
I absolutely LOVED the location of this apartment and how easily accessible great pubs, restaurants, shops, and the subway is. All within minutes (if not immediately downstairs!) The apartment is beautifully decorated although once you scratched the surface there were things that needed attending to (toilet that ran, some kind of faulty wiring so one light didn’t work, a broken mirror frame, slightly leaky faucet). None of these things impacted the usability of the apartment and the host, unaware, was appreciative and apologetic, stating she’d have it looked into immediately. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great spot to explore Glasgow on foot.
We truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location in the West End was great. Lots of bars and restaurants right outside the door. Kelvingrove Museum, The University of Glasgow with the Hunterian Museum are very close. Not far from the river. Communication with Suzy was excellent. Check in involves a lock box on the wall outside the building. The apartment was clean. The kitchen well equipped. Although if you plan on doing your own cooking I would recommend purchasing cooking oil as well as salt and pepper and any other condiments you might use. The refrigerator is half size but perfectly adequate. The bed was very comfortable and the nights were quiet. We found the shower a bit tricky to get the perfect water temperature. As a bonus, the entrance to the subway is literally out the back gate!
