Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Located for easy access to Bath and the Cotswolds ... would absolutely stay there again. The conservatory, with its wonderful views, was our favorite place to eat, hang out and play cards. It was simply beautiful!

Location location!

Excellent location! Truly enjoyed the stay. Parking wasn't clear but we figured it out. Absolutely love the view. Enjoyed 2 sunsets :-)!

Wonderful cottage

The cottage was so perfect for our stay near Bath! Just the coziest place. We appreciated the food and activity recommendations also. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

Bath weekend

The property was well placed for access to Bath with only a short drive to the city centre. The views from the property were very picturesque. Unfortunately we did find the steps down to the property very steep and covered in leaves which made them slippery. We think we would have felt a bit safer if there was a hand rail as some of the people in our party were over 75.

It's been lovingly renovated and updated to be sensitive to the 1700s features including the huge fireplace and stone walls while adding modern luxury with the high-end wet room with sumptuous bath. Whether you want a peaceful getaway, going for walks from the doorstep and cooking locally sourced goodies in the fully equipped kitchen, or venturing to nearby Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas, this is the perfect base for your holiday. The Harry Potter village of Lacock is a short drive, neary Bradford on Avon boasts the best cream teas, The Roman Baths are a step back in time and the Thermae Spa with mutiple floors of saunas and spa bath are a delight, especially the open-air roof top spa.

What makes this property unique

The view without doubt is the outstanding feature and gets remarked upon by every guest. Many find it hard to tear themselves away from the terrace which overlooks the hillside garden and valley. The house is also described as quirky due to the original 1700s features in the main part of the property. The bathroom-with-a-view is also a highlight.
