The local train station is a 10min walk and has direct routes to London, Wimbledon, Twickenham and Richmond, with Central London just a 30min ride. It is also a hub to Hampton Court Palace, 3 Royal Parks, Racecourses, Kew Gardens, and many other local attractions.
The house is situated on a quiet side street with plenty of parking and has a great range of local shops and services on it's doorstep. The open plan kitchen and dining room opens out to a covered lounge and bbq area. The house is fully double glazed, and all the bedrooms have wooden blinds.
Excellent Remote Working environment with High Speed Fibre Internet and strong Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property, including Wi-Fi and ethernet in the gym area at end of garden. There are also several areas in the house for a great working atmosphere and two further dedicated workspaces.
From the house, the bus stop is a 2min walk (with buses running all day at very regular intervals) and the nearest train station, Norbiton, is a 10min walk. Norbiton has direct links from Waterloo Station in Central London every 15 minutes, which takes an estimated 30mins to complete.
There is 2 large parking spaces on the drive and free parking on the road. The house is also covered by Uber, Bolt and many other good local taxi firms.
For car drivers, the house is 10mins from a main artillery road, the A3, which goes directly into London and heads south to the coast, giving easy access to Brighton, the stunning Surrey Hills and many other places to explore.
The Royal Borough of Kingston has also invested significantly in cycle lanes throughout the borough, if this is your preferred mode of transport.
The house is a central hub to easily visit Wimbledon Tennis, Twickenham Rugby, Epsom Horse Racing, Hampton Court Flower Show & several football clubs, including Chelsea and Fulham FC.
There are also plenty of local activities. MTB trails along river, woodland trails and the renowned Surrey Hills. There is free access to a local Tennis Court, 5 mins from house in Dickerage Park. There are numerous public access golf courses within a 30 min drive. Road biking is extremely popular, especially around the ring road of Richmond Park. The River Thames allows people to kayak, paddle board, sail and swim. There are also many fabulous park, woodland and river walks near by. There is even a very large, heated outdoor swimming pool in Hampton, a 20min drive from house.
If these activities are not for you, Kingston also hosts a fabulous shopping centre with a central ancient marketplace in the heart of the town. In the centre of town these is The Rose Theatre, the largest producing theatre in South West London and modelled on the original Elizabethan Rose Theatre on London’s Bankside. There is the Kingston Museum and several historical attractions including The Saxon Coronation Stone dating back to the 9th Century.
