Chance Cottage is a picture postcard chocolate box cottage built in traditional Yorkshire stone, bursting with character and situated in the sought after village of East Witton on the edge of Wensleydale in North Yorkshire. Comfortably sleeping six guests, suiting families or a group of friends anytime of year in a peaceful location, yet under half an hour from Ripon or, nearer still, Masham.

The property has been furnished to a high standard throughout for guests to enjoy. The sitting room and dining room with seating for six guests both have a large wood burning stove, perfect for cosy nights in and there is also a delightful breakfast room and conservatory for informal dining to complement your stay both leading out to the rear garden and seating area. The well-equipped stylish farmhouse kitchen offers beautiful exposed beams as it leads you through to the rest of the cottage. The three light and airy bedrooms are tastefully decorated, over-looking the rolling countryside towards the village; the master king-size bedroom boasting a spacious en-suite bathroom with free-standing bath and separate walk-in shower; second king-size bedroom and bathroom featuring the added luxury of a roll-top, claw-foot bath, also with shower; and finally the third double bedroom with stunning views across to the church and family bathroom.

Picturesque East Witton has a village pub, The Blue Lion, a 18th century inn, serving mouth-watering food and range of hand-pulled local ales in charming candlelit surroundings.

Please be aware due to the nature of the property there are various steps and different levels on both floors.
Throughout the first floor a few rooms have low ceilings.
Due to the rural area, the road in front of the cottage can at times have livestock being moved along if from the local farm.
