Welcome to The Lodge at Newmeads Farm, set in 50 acres of woodland, just a stone’s throw from Glastonbury Tor and full of local wildlife. The lodge has been finished to a high standard, enter into the large open plan living area, diner and kitchen, with vaulted ceilings and large French doors bringing in masses of light. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an American fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. The living room has a double sofa bed and an electric fire for those cooler evenings to cosy up in front of, or in the summer fling open the French doors to the decked terrace and allow the fresh country air in.

In less than a mile there is a local farm with shop and spa retreat, Middlewick Farm and in 1.5 miles there is a local beer shop. The ancient medieval town of Glastonbury can be reached in just 5 minutes by car or head across the fields by foot and be there in 20 minutes while skirting the base of the Tor at the same time. Glastonbury is full of eclectic shops as well as bars, restaurants and museums to explore, where you can enjoy the 36 acres of Glastonbury Abbey and soak up the legends and myths of King Arthur, after learning all about the ruins from the excellent museum. Hop in the car and visit the designer outlet at Clarks Village in Street for some retail bargains, head to Cheddar to visit the famous gorge and sample some Yes Cheddar Cheese or see if you can find the Witch at Wookey Hole Caves!
The smallest city in the UK, Wells is definitely worth a visit, especially on market days, Wednesday and Saturday, when the streets come alive with local stalls by the cathedral.
