Hilltop Cottage steps from East Coast Trail, fishing & whale watching

Start your day with a hike to the La Manche suspension bridge on the East Coast Trail, be home by lunch or trek on! When you do get home cook in the remodeled kitchen or grill and eat on the deck. After dinner grab a pole and head to the pond for some fresh trout, their always biting around sunset, which is about 9:30 in summer. In the evening sit back on the deck and enjoy the spectacular stars. In the cottage enjoy premium cable TV an internet. Restaurants and food markets are a short ride as well. Come from aways are always welcome here!

A great base camp from which to hike and explore Avalon Peninsula! Clean, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. WiFi was iffy but not surprising given the rural location.

Well organized space with very comfortable quarters. Near a tourist site in La Manche Park. Easy to find by description. Near enough to groceries and water activities as well as hiking. Very enjoyable and a place to visit again. Owners friendly and obliging.
