Ostuni, known to the world as the White City, is the pearl of the Itria Valley. Its blindingly white, immense historic center culminates in the Cathedral (600 meters from the apartment) that soars over the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a crystal-clear sea. Characteristic are its narrow streets, the Piazza della Libertà (5 minutes away) and the column of St. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside stretches into the heart of the Itria Valley. A few kilometers away is Ceglie Messapica, a center of tradition and enogastronomy; Cisternino, a village recognized as one of the most beautiful in Italy; and Alberobello, whose famous trulli have been a world heritage site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnatia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing villages with a charming historic center and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the East, while proceeding south we first encounter the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, the capital of Baroque. Moving westward there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia, and finally to Matera, characteristic for its sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
Brindisi (40 minutes) and Bari (80 minutes) are the closest airports to Ostuni.

A beautiful home in a stunning location. Clean and practical but absolutely stunning! Great pool and lovely outdoor area with comfortable space inside and views over the valley.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Nice place but not very accommodating.
Very rustic and appealing.
Kitchen is lacking in many areas. No indoor dining, no table or chairs. 2 nights of rain and cold weather made uncomfortable to eat outside.
The whole key and door access is not very functional and borders safety regulations. No man door at entrance, only car gate.
We had no hot water for first 7 days out of 10.
Pool was a little dirty, service came out once to clean.
Really need to correct some of these issues.
Merci !
