A small red-painted cottage in all its simplicity is located in a scenic environment about 30 meters from Lake Vänern in Kristinehamn. This accommodation is ideal for those who appreciate the tranquility and proximity to the lake and a simpler standard. The garden is large and spacious, there is plenty of space for outdoor activities. At the bathing area there is a common barbecue area that invites to fantastic barbecue evenings with the sunset as a view. The homeowners have a boat with oars for rent, you may want to fish or just find your very own beach. The boat is anchored in the marina near the cottage. You are welcomed into a small veranda with a roof, through the entrance you enter directly into the living room where there is a kitchen table with four chairs, a large lovely sofa bed for two people, TV, a small kitchen where most things you need for cooking are here there is a steamer to heat water, a fireplace where you are currently able to light candles for the cosiness factor, a bedroom with a bunk bed. The cottage itself is very simple, sea water is withdrawn so there is no municipal water or own well, the homeowners set up a water bottle with drinking water which you later fill in at the specified place. The toilet located in a separate building is a separett, to the cottage there is an outdoor shower with hot water heated by the sun. Here you will find nice bicycles and walking paths, in the forest and on the ground there are plenty of berries and mushrooms. Nearby attractions are Otterbäcken with the beautiful marina and various restaurants. Particularly famous is the pizzeria, which has the famous pizza with a cheese edge. To Sjötorp with the locks it is about 50 km, where there are craftsmen, mini golf course and a nice guest harbor in close proximity to the restaurant. A day trip to Läcköslott is also worth mentioning. At Norrqvarn you can see when the boats are locked at Göta Kanal, here there is also Göta Kanal built in miniature, the children can rent a boat to play with and splash in the water. Kristinehamn is about 3 miles away, where is the famous Picasso sculpture. Kristinehamn is a real summer town, there are many nice piers with nice boats, there are several good restaurants and cafes. "Hygn's game" is available at a distance of about 10 kilometers, here is a varied selection of venison for the grill, they also offer ready-made dishes.
