This is a nice place to stay with a very convenient location in Glasgow. Local eateries and groceries were an easy walk away. It is close to the University but also convenient to other attractions. We enjoyed being in a neighborhood location that seemed a bit more authentic that staying in a tourist area hotel.

No car parking at property although did find a parking space 10 minutes walk away. Very close to subway station and some dining options nearby.
Good location and large apartment. However, much more care should be taken to cleaning. There were crumbs on the living room rug and floor, which we vacuumed up ourselves. There were sticky spots on the kitchen counter and floor. The worst part was the bathroom in the hall. It smells so bad from black mold that I refused to use it. It is very visible as well.
This is a good apartment with decent sized rooms in a great location. There are great restaurants and cafes nearby. The parking was an issue for us; it’s permit holders only on Otago Street itself. There were some spaces on the parallel street but they are not guaranteed so we ended up using Just Park to find secure parking nearby (this worked fine for us as we didn’t need our car during our stay). Other than that, a good place to stay for your visit to Glasgow!

Communication with the host was problematic. We requested a stay change and while they agreed, it took a significant process to have them actually fix the reservation. There were no access instructions for arrival, and we had to call VRBO after trying to reach out to the host. The listing indicated parking on site, wording which would indicate dedicated parking spots. However, that is not the case. It is street parking in an extremely crowded area where many of the surrounding streets have personal street spaces that were not available to visitors. The refrigerator is dorm sized with no freezer space in it at all, and the washer/dryer combo unit washed, but did not dry. Finally, it was cold in the flat all the time. The beds and furnishings were comfortable, and the bathrooms were fine but the showers and sinks were small.

The owner forgot we were coming and wasn't answering our messages in how to get in. He answered when i called way after our check in time and still had to go clean from the previous guests. Since he cleaned the whole place in about 30 minutes, it wasn't very clean. One of the showers didn't work, and one of the toilet seats was kind of broken. There was only a small refrigerator without a freezer for ice. There's no table with chairs, so when we played cards, people had to sit on the floor, and you have to sit on the couch to eat. There's potential for this place, but the owner needs to do some work and needs to be more organized.
Nice location and nice place, but needs just a tad or work
This Vrbo is very clean, and it is a great location for doing work at the University. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and there were lots of pots and pans for cooking. But there are also some problems. First, the tenant should realize there is no freezer or ice maker. This is not a problem if you know about it in advance. The internet is extremely spotty. It only works well in specific locations. We had to move around the living room to get optimal internet. The door hinge to the guest bathroom just needs a little oil, it is very squeaky and wakes up people at night. In addition, when we were there the shower drain plugged up. Also, we could not figure out how to control the floor heaters. They seem to come on at scheduled times, or we just don’t understand. Parking on weekdays if very difficult, but previous reviews said the same thing so we knew about this. In summary, I would stay there again with some very simple fixes: internet, door hinge, and shower drain.
