It was everything we hoped for, exactly as described. It was more than enough space for our family of 6. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake and taking out the canoes and kayaks. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. This house is at the top of our list for future vacations.

Just what we needed

Check-in was a breeze, Wi-Fi was excellent, the cabin was comfortable but best of all the location was perfect. We were looking for a quiet, pretty place to relax and that’s what we got. We swam, hiked a little, watched the birds and had a wonderful week.

Very nice weekend getaway

Very cute house and lots of extra stuff to do. We loved kayaking through the pond, and having a fire at night. Will definitely stay here again!

This is the quietest, most serene place we have rented in all of Maine. The Papoose Pond may not be a big body of water, but it was great for kayaking at any level of inexperience. The Crooked River, however, was a pleasant challenge among the zigs and zags and was loaded with large brown trout.If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to go.

Great stay in a secluded cabin!

We had such an amazing time at this location. It was exactly what our group was looking for and the pond was such a great backdrop. We enjoyed kayaking and just relaxing by the fire pit. All of our friends said it was one of the best trips they have had and want to return again and again. Thanks for the awesome stay!
