Better than we could have imagined!

We had such a wonderful time at Giovanni’s beautiful apartment! It absolutely exceeded our expectations. It looked beautiful in the photos when we initially booked to stay there, but upon seeing the apartment and being shown around by Giovanni, we fell in love with the place. Everything about the space is beautiful… The decor, the artwork on the walls, the glassware, the well-appointed kitchen, the original features on the walls in every room. The apartment tells a story and it is very clear that it has been lovingly restored and taken care of. We felt incredibly lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful, original apartment in Lucca centre. The location was excellent, it was so clean and the check-in process and meeting the kind, lovely Giovanni was excellent. If I could give this more than 10 stars ⭐️ I would. My partner and I hope to return to Giovanni‘s apartment one day but until then, we will dream of this place. If you get a chance to stay here, count yourself lucky because it was perfect. Thank you Giovanni, we loved staying at your place.

What an amazing place

I wish I could give this place more stars. First off, Giovanni and Daniela have put so much love into this apartment. The pictures don’t do the place justice. We were just floored when we walked into the apartment, it was so gorgeous. Giovanni met us and showed us around. He was so helpful in explaining all the details of the place. He also checked in to see if we needed anything. The location is in the very heart of historic Lucca. There is a parking lot not far away that you can park the car. Highly recommend this apartment.

Ceci est un appartement d'exception! Nous avons eu l'impression de loger chez un ami. C'est la première fois que cela nous arrive. Il n'y a aucun soucis de fournitures: tout y est et même plus. Et la climatisation fonctionnait! La décoration est une merveille. Lors de notre prochain séjour à Lucca nous n'aurons plus besoin de chercher: nous irons directement chez Giovanni et Daniele!

An incredible apartment in the center of Lucca

I wish it was possible to leave an extra star for those hosts whose properties exceed expectations in every way. Even then I’m not sure it would be enough. Giovanni and Daniela’s apartment in Lucca is simply extraordinary. The pictures they posted to VRBO are accurate, giving you a taste of how beautifully decorated and comfortable the apartment is. But even these photographs can’t quite capture the charm of the place or the thoughtfulness of the hosts. Lucca itself is a magical place, and this apartment is equally magical. Let me address some practical questions. We stayed at the apartment in late May-June 2022. The hosts speak very good English and were quick to respond to us anytime we had a question. More than that, they were kind and welcoming. We found the apartment cool even though the weather outside was unseasonably hot, even without using the air-conditioners. It is centrally located – a 10 minute walk from both the train station and the main bus platform, and only steps from a couple grocery stores as well as several nice food shops. The neighbors were very quiet and the apartment is largely sheltered from street noise.
