Casa Don Rodnico is located in the district of Monte Pueblo, in the municipalily of Villa de Mazo, a village famous for its local artisans. Proof of this is found in the arches and tapestries made mainly of dried flowers decorating the streets of the municipality during the festival of Corpus Christi. The Corpus Christi celebrations been declared a tourist attraction of National Touristic Interest.
Just a short walk away is the centre of Villa de Mazo where you can visit the Casa Roja museum or, on weekends, the Municipal Market (Mercadillo) where you will find homegrown vegetables, fresh bread and homemade lace to name but a few of wares. It is a good starting point also for hiking lovers, since Casa Don Rodnico is located very close to the trails PR LP16.1: La Salemera; PR LP17: Camino de La Faya (La Faya’s Path) and GR130: Camino Real de La Costa ( Royal Coastal Path), among others.
