Chalet Encanto Natural, a comfortable 45-square-meter, two-story home built from fine Chanú wood—a tree that can grow up to 40 metres tall—whose fibrous texture and reddish-brown hue evoke a sense of vitality, which comes from the rainforests of the Pacific coast in the Colombian department of Chocó. The chalet’s ceiling and floor are made of Zapan planks, a wood harvested from the tree known as “Alma Negra,” which is very common in the department of Antioquia, the Magdalena Medio region, and the Colombian Amazon. This wood is chestnut-colored, and its neutral tone creates a sense of tranquility; its hardness makes it resistant to warping and immune to pests.
The roof is made of a waterproofing material called granulated asphalt membrane, which repels moisture and, together with the wood, retains heat, giving the chalet a warm atmosphere well-suited to the temperate climate of this coffee-growing region.
Its glass windows allow you to connect with nature while protecting you from the cold mountain winds; they also create a romantic atmosphere that blends seamlessly with the starry nights, whether viewed from the bedroom or from the living room below; Likewise, if you put on a coat, you can enjoy wonderful evenings from the balcony. In the mornings, a chorus of birdsong and the imposing mountains herald the start of a new day.
Amenities include: a private bedroom, a hot shower, and a bathroom; a kitchen fully equipped with appliances such as a refrigerator, stove, sandwich maker, blender, and dishes, among other items. It also features a living room with a natural calfskin leather sofa, a coffee table, and a TV with channels, series, and films.
The Chalet Encanto Natural features a balcony or terrace where you can watch and enjoy the birds, banana and coffee plantations, as well as pastures and mountains.
We are located 1,800 metres from the main park; this distance makes the Chalet an ideal place for rest and tranquility. The cost of transport by motorised cart is $ 5000, and we also have private parking.
