We have been coming to the Axaquia region for several years now and found Canillas de Albaida to be such a beautiful white washed village we decided to buy a house here 2 years ago. now we want to give others the chance to experience the amazing area. Our house is a very short walk to the sierras de Tejeda' Almijara y Alhama, Parque Natural

The house is in a quiet village 30min from the beaches. behind the house you can walk into the natural forest. There are many good walks from the village and also a short drive away. Sierra Nevada is only 1 1/2 hour drive away.
the house comes with free Fibre broadband, electricity included, air con to the lounge and master bedroom, ceiling fan in the 2nd bedroom

Canillas de Albaida is a perfect place to spend some peaceful days and discover the culture and beautiful landscapes and experience a real taste of Spain. With four excellent restaurants, one centred on the pretty plaza, a couple of minutes from our house where you can enjoy the gastronomy of the region. Several local shops are nearby for your daily needs and larger supermarkets are a short drive away, also Fresh fish shop, Pharmacy, Hardware shop and a tabac The natural park of Sierra Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama start on our doorstep and it offers spectacular scenery with hiking tracks, tracks for mountain biking and scenic drives on many Pueblos Blancos of the Axarquia region to explore. The Axarquia region of Andalucia is great to visit any time of year, spring and autumn being the best for walking in the hills on the many paths and trails.
