Property in perfect location
Very sparsely furnished and not at all welcoming: they’ve gone for minimalist…but there’s minimalist and minimalist!!
On arrival; very quick show to the apartment as agent was off to a meeting
No hot water and no wifi connected. Soon resolved but need to think about preparation before arrival…first impressions count
The agent acted swiftly to resolve all issues and was very polite always
Typical Spanish bed and awful cheap mattress…the bed linen was the cheapest; probably from the Chinese supermarket next door
With just a little more thought an commitment (a few local pictures, better mattress and sofa etc) this could be a wonderful let
Small balcony overlooking everyone…but that’s Cabo Roig for you (I’ve been coming and owned here for 20 years plus)….but go up the external stairs and you come to the most amazing solarium that you could have a game of football on. I know it’s extra maintenance etc but a few good sized plants up there would turn it into an oasis…amazing…and even though the neighbours solariums are visible; privacy wasn’t compromised
The only issue that didn’t get resolved was the lack of lighting in the basement car park. Most switches don’t work and my space (27) was a fair way from the sensor at the door out
Agent said she’d contact electrician but in the meantime and due to it being relatively quiet season; gave me a space nearer the door and light sensor
Overall, a perfectly decent stay and a 7/10
