This popular inn does one of the best Sunday roasts around and offers a takeaway option, including delicious homemade wood-fired pizzas.
For a greater variety of eateries visit the beautiful village of Betws y Coed, which has numerous attractions and a distinctly Alpine feel, enhanced by the dense Gwydir Forest and mountain backdrop. Also, within easy reach are the Carneddau Mountains, plus numerous mountain lakes, offering mountain biking, walking, and fishing. Bike hire, fishing and a café are available at Llyn Brenig (which contains a 10-mile round walk) or for less strenuous, but equally impressive routes visit Llyn Crafnant and Llyn Geirionydd.

This lovely, secluded cabin is just right for a romantic break under the stars.
