Absolutely disgusting treatment by owner
Me and my sister booked this break away for her birthday as a gift from our mother. Our initial impression was beautiful when we first turned up. However after being there for an hour and unpacking our clothes then sitting down for a glass of wine things took a turn for the worse. Another family turned up and told us they had booked the same cabin and asked us to leave. We shown the other family our confirmation emails with the dates times and price paid. The family said they didn’t have any confirmation details to show us because he’d booked privately. I called the owner Katharine who I’d spoken to an hour earlier to inform her she must have double booked. Half an hour later her husband William turned up shouting at me and my sister telling us he didn’t like us. He was pointing and telling me he has to make a decision and we I have to get our clothes out and leave. He wouldn’t look at any of my booking confirmation details and said he didn’t care. He said he had no information of my booking and that I am not welcome in his property. I had to call the police because we had been threatened to leave. Me and my sister was very upset and couldn’t understand why he approached the situation in this way. The other family were asking the owner why was he being so rude against me and my sister. They said they were willing to go back home and leave us as we had got there first. But the owner was adamant we must leave and was very rude and invalided our private space.
