Two well-behaved dogs are welcome; however, smoking is not permitted. Within 0.3 miles there is a shop and pub and within 0.6 miles, a beach. The White Cottage makes a wonderful base to the coastal town of Weymouth.

Only 7 miles away lies Dorchester, the setting for Thomas Hardy's "Casterbridge," or travel along the lovely coastal route to Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens.
