There is an inglenook fireplace with an open fire in the cosy living room, two kitchens and a conservatory overlooking the farm and surrounding countryside. Just off the A5 and within walking distance of the village pub, shop and two eateries in Cerrigydrudion, Groudd Hall Cottage makes a great central base for exploring the area. There is fishing within 5 miles, and close by are the sparkling waters of Llyn Brenig Lake, with all sorts of water-based activities, whilst there are plenty of walks from the doorstep. Betws-y-Coed, the ’gateway to the Snowdonia National Park’ is only a few minutes away by car, whilst in the other direction, Llangollen, home to both the International Eisteddfod and the Llangollen Railway, is well worth a visit. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
