Beware of this hotel. Vrbo does not protect its user at all. Left us stranded in colombia

We had rented the entire building. There was a total of 16 people. Before I booked I had called up Vrbo and had told the agent I was nervous renting overseas and that I’ve had a owner not have a place available when I got there. Vrbo agent told me if anything like that happens Vrbo will find us new accommodation and would not charge us anything extra. Everything was recorded. When we got to the building owner tells us that we can’t check in. There was a error in their system. They under charged us. so now we don’t have any rooms unless we pay thousands more. I called up Vrbo. They said they couldn’t do anything about it and would refund my money in about 2weeks. I asked about the guarantee. They said even though it was recorded and clearly they said they would not leave us stranded. They did exactly that. I also had purchased the travelers insurance. They didn’t honor it either. Oh I didn’t get refunded for that either. Worse company ever. If you want to be stranded in a foreign county. Please use this site. They will leave you for dead and charge you for it
