“Coombe Valley View” (2 The Coombe) is an amazing 2 bedroomed (1 King, 1 Double and 1 single bed).South Westerly positioned self catering holiday lodge, sleeping 5, just 4.5 miles from Bude Centre. This lodge was fully renovated to a modern and high standard for the start of the 2022 Summer Season and has been a labour of love and further enhanced in 2023 which has continued into 2024 with Bed 1 (new bed, new fully fitted wardrobes and dressing table area).
Coombe Valley View has amazing Sunsets from its own private terrace and uninterrupted views across National Trust countryside “Coombe Valley” and distant sea views to Duckpool Beach. It is in an enviable tucked away quiet position on the edge of this 30 acre woodland park.
The lodge has the added benefit of free wifi & free parking.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with all the mod cons you would expect, induction hob, fan assisted oven/grill, microwave, f/f, toaster, kettle, air fryer and the more important dishwasher, so no one has to wash up whilst on holiday.

A beautifully appointed lodge and relaxing base from which to explore all that Cornwall offers.
2 Coombe Valley View had everything we needed and more! Comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished, spotless and amazing value for money. Our granddaughter aged 3 loved the bunk bed, pool and playing on the patio and grass outside ( which was safe and well tended) as well as offering privacy. A great space to sit, relax and enjoy the lovely views and at watch the sun set. We booked direct with the owner which couldn’t have been better! . Responses to questions were always prompt, friendly and professional. Visits included The Lost Garden of Heligan, The Big Sheep, Tintagel castle, The Hidden Valley, Bude, Port Isaac, and the lovely local beaches. Some of these were quite a drive but we felt able to do this because the lodge was a wonderful place to come home to, have a glass of wine and rewind. We would love to have stayed longer than the week we booked. We also made great use the local shops and takeaways they are excellent and so close. Thank you for the 5* accommodation - highly recommended!!

Why they chose this property

2 The Coombe, Coombe Valley View, has amazing sunsets and beautiful views over the coombe valley and distant sea down to “Duckpool Beach”, on this 30 acre woodland park. It is in an enviable and private tucked away position and we have been fortunate also to often see owls, voles, deer, pheasants, bats, squirrels and many birds and wildlife without moving from the terrace . It is well placed to get to many places of interest that suits all age groups with lakes, rivers, canals, beaches, historic sights, fun attractions and fresh country air. For us, this makes it quite unique and that it caters for all age groups.

It ticks all the boxes with exceptional views, amazing sunsets, privacy, and walking distance to the village of Kilkhampton. ideal as it is close to the A39 giving easy access to many beaches/ surfing, 2 golf courses and Bude Sea Pool. It well placed to visit The Milkyway, Clovelly, Hartland Quay, The Big Sheep, Tintagel, Bude, Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Widemouth, Bossiney, to name just a few. Water sports and Bikes Hire at Tamar Lakes, & The Weir, North Devon Wake Park for fun water sports for all ages. Plenty of country walks, restaurants, cafes, shops and bars
