Hawthorn Coach House

The coach house is a quiet, bright and new studio nestled amongst the trees, with a garden and forest setting in Halfmoon Bay. With a peak-a-boo ocean view and a private entrance, this fully equipped studio is yours to reduce the distractions of a busy life. Surrounded by the forest you can relax outdoors with your morning coffee in the garden sun.

The coach has a fully covered porch to rest and enjoy the outdoors whether it's the evening sun or the sounds of the rain. The grounds are well treed with access to a common area to enjoy coffee in the morning sun. A winding trail is available to access the Sunshine Coast Regional District public bike and walking trails at the back of the property.

With a private entrance you can come and go with ease. Parking is onsite at the foot of the driveway.

This studio loft was a great getaway! Close to everything as described! It was quiet and peaceful! The hosts were amazing and super helpful with tips for activities and recommendations to eat! They even left a lovely welcome bouquet of flowers from their garden. They were prompt to respond to our questions and requests.

We arrived to a very clean, spacious apartment with all the amenities you would need for a long or short stay. There were fresh flowers, which added a nice personal touch to the apartment. The bed was firm and comfortable. The towels were plenty and were very fresh smelling. Thank you Rob and Dave for making our stay an enjoyable one. We will be back!

I stayed at the Coach House for two nights end of June 2024. The space is gorgeous, quiet and full of light. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed hiking at Smuggler Cove and a massage at a spa nearby. Would go again.

Lovely getaway spot

Lovely hosts and peaceful spot. Great value for the $. Worth noting that this is a studio space with no separating walls. The bed is in the living space which wasn't clear to us from the listing and a bit of a surprise and not really what we wanted. The tiny shower was also a bit of a struggle. Overall pleasant stay if you know what to expect.
