This was a great place for 2 adults (although it is advertised for 5) and a dog to enjoy (no charge for the dog to stay). It is less than two minutes' walk from the main shopping street, and the Test Way walking route. It's in a quiet location, and in the evening light the garden is a tranquil place to sit. It's well-equipped, the heating and water system are easy to operate, and joy of joys, there is a bath as well as a powerful shower. The owner gives helpful suggestions, and is at the end of a phone if needed. The cottage is a great base for exploring this bit of Hampshire.

A very comfortable and well-situated cottage.
A very comfortable and well-situated cottage. Stockbridge is lovely with lots of independent shops and local walks including the Test Way. Nick, the owner, was very helpful if we had any questions.

Really well equipped property, in a quiet location, and a lovely host. We really enjoyed the garden, for sunny evening sitting outside.
We used this charming cottage to stay over for a family wedding. Walking distance of Stockbridge High Street made it a perfect location. The cottage is delightful very clean, beds are really comfy and nice outdoor space for when the sun is out. Will definitely use again.

Willow Cottage is in an ideal location with good amenities.
Willow Cottage is in an ideal location with good amenities. Cottage is cozy but could do with a spruce up as decoration was tired. Met Nick the owner who was very friendly and helpful. Sent a few texts to ask how we were getting on. If weather had been better, could have made use of the garden which was very nice. Went to a lot of different places which weren’t too far from Stockbridge. Good walking paths and plenty of places to eat.
I think there may have been a change in management companies, which caused a little confusion, but this was sorted out quite quickly 🤗

Great location, over-priced accommodation
The house is in a great spot. Walking distance to Stockbridge high Street and walks on the marshes.
It has a good outdoor space.
The house is small as the listing shows, however it is very run down. The shower was broken unable to stay in any useful position.
Half finished food was in the fridge and shampoo/conditioner/gel in the bathroom.
For the amount charged per night I would expect better maintenance and presentation.
It is warm, clean and the towels supplied were fluffy. Unfortunately the cottage is overpriced and due some essential maintenance before being suitable as a pricey holiday let.
