A lovely comfortable cottage just a stroll from the village and its shops and pubs.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 1: Zip And Link Super Kingsize Bed (2 x Singles On Request) Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet

Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Lawned front garden with garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). Small rear private patio area with garden furniture. Hot tub (private). Private parking for 1-2 cars.. All properties: Underfloor air source heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Bike store. No smoking.. Royal Oak Cottages are all on the site of the former pub that they take their name from, in the heart of the village of Wainfleet. Just 5 miles from the seafront of the popular family holiday resort of Skegness.

Each property has been converted to a high standard, providing luxury and utmost comfort during your stay. Ground floor underfloor heating is to be found in all the cottages, along with a cosy wood burner for added comfort and to cosy up in front of after a day spent exploring.

The nearby family seaside resort of Skegness provides something for everyone to enjoy with a fun fair, amusements, aquarium, seal sanctuary and miles of Blue Flag sandy beaches to walk along. Gibraltar Point nature Reserve as well as Frampton Nature Reserve offer miles of walks as well as the opportunity to see a huge range of wildlife and migrating birds.

Wainfleet has a selection of pubs, shops and takeaways as well as a railway station providing a link to the coast. There are good walks and cycle routes throughout the area with the nearby River Steeping about a mile away for fishing from the bank. Beach 5 miles.

Lovely clean place, would 100% recommend to a couple but unfortunately it does not feel dog friendly as advertised, the dogs aren't allowed to roam the property so your constantly on edge as it's open plan and no doors separating rooms, you get the feeling your expected to put dogs in a cage while you're there. The hot tub is really nice but there's no gazebo/cover in case it's bad weather

We had a wonderful stay at Mr George.

We had a wonderful stay at Mr George. The cottage is really lovely and very well equipped. Wainfleet has a couple of pubs and a few takeaway places plus a local Co op . We did the Brewery tour at Batemans which we thoroughly enjoyed and spent most days driving to local beaches with the dogs. Would highly recommend this property. If we were to add anything it would be that there were no robes available for use after the hot tub we have had these in other cottages we have used. This is a small detail and does not detract from this lovely cottage just something to consider if you book take a robe. Overall we had a fabulous stay it is a little gem.
