This is a wonderful location for guests to relax and soak up the special atmosphere that the town of Hawes has to offer, there is something here for everyone.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. . Bike store. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. Situated in a central location in the popular market town of Hawes in Wensleydale, Cartwheel Cottage stands on the corner of a narrow and quiet lane linking the two main thoroughfares. You can simply park up and enjoy everything on foot. There are fabulous walks from the doorstep, including Hardraw Force, England’s highest unbroken waterfall, and the Pennine Way. Cyclists will enjoy the popular routes of the Tour de Yorkshire or Grand Depart. Local amenities are plentiful in Hawes, with excellent local butcher shop, delicatessen, grocery store and interesting selection of shops, traditional pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. Not forgetting the ever-popular Wensleydale creamery where Gromit’s cheese is made!
This charming stone-built cottage has been fully refurbished throughout by its owners to provide attractive and comfortable accommodation for your stay. The living accommodation is open plan and combines modern style with traditional features, décor is light and relaxing and blends with the original beams and oak furnishings. A comfortable sofa and reclining chairs are set around a feature fireplace and a large window seat is the perfect spot to sit with a morning coffee and watch the world go by. The shaker style kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for your stay. An open staircase leads up to the two bedrooms, the master with double bed, attractive bed linen and oak furniture, the second with a single bed. The family bathroom with bath and electric shower over.
Cartwheel Cottage provides an ideal base for a couples or friends to explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and beyond. With a wide variety of walking routes to suit all abilities on the doorstep or challenge the Yorkshire Three Peaks only 30 minutes away.
