Although set in a rural position it lies close to many areas of interest and the Welsh coast is just an hour’s drive away. Stunning Lake Vyrnwy is a fabulous day out for guests to walk and enjoy the scenery. The property is within easy reach of Clywedog Reservoir and Powis Castle and other attractions to visit include Elan Valley, Hafren Forest, Plynlimon Hills and Devils Bridge. This is also a great base for the Royal Welsh Show in Llanelwedd. Close by the towns of Newtown and Llanidloes host an array of bars, shops, and restaurants, and also a good range of takeaways which guests can enjoy back at the property.
