Wonderful stay with light show

Absolutely a wonderful home with all one needs for a stay. Well stocked kitchen and ample room. Had a small issue with the heat on first day, but the owner immediately responded and fixed. It is very close to town with a 5 min walk via path. The train light show was very nice. The trains stop at 10 pm so no overnight rumbles.

Beautiful cottage, felt like home

Very homely, beautifully decorated with interesting art work throughout, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds.We thought it might be noisy because the trains were near but it was not at all- a very quiet and peaceful location with great walks nearby. The town of Alresford with it's independent shops and plenty of choice for eating out is lovely. We ate well and reasonably at The Bell as recommended by our host. We visited Winchester using the cheap and efficient Park and Ride system. Wonderful Cathedral, interesting museums and a vibrant shopping area. . We can highly recommend the property and the area. We hope to stay again.
