Perfect for our 3 generation family getaway. We appreciated the milk and fresh flowers
Amy left to welcome us and loved the cozy ambience. The location and surroundings are amazing. Don’t miss a visit to the Swan across the road for lovely food and a warm welcome!
The property was beautiful with lots of character. It was clean and well maintained and the flowers were a nice touch. The layout and location worked well with our 3 boys. The location is beautiful and it is a great location to explore that part of England.
A comfortable few days; very well placed for country walks and for Lamport Hall (opposite) and several other places. Only 20 minutes to Northampton. The pub opposite did us well, too.
This cottage is very charming. Very comfortable and has wonderful views over the countryside. It is in walking distance to the Swan Pub which we loved. There is also a bus stop which goes to Northampton or Market Harborough near the pub. Communication with Amy was excellent. Only negative is that there is no shop in the village. We would definitely recommend it.
A lovely weekend stay in the corner house. Right opposite The Swan pub for a nice meal and a drink. The house had everything we needed and we had a great time The kids loved watching the cows in the field behind the house! Great communication from the team , couldn't fault it and would happily come again.
Lovely property in an amazing location. It's rural, peaceful and quiet but close enough to shops, towns, lakes, nature walks and anything else you need within a few minutes drive. All of us, including our dog loved it. Amy and her team where extremely friendly and everything we need was provided. Log fires were just what we needed to chill out and relax and beds were very comfortable. The views are great and the pub across the street is very nice.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
Lovely property, very spacious. Can make sure the dog mess is cleared from the lawn. We were approached just before 10.30am on our last day as we were about to leave and told we should be out of the property by 10am and the cleaner had been waiting since 10.05am. On the information it states you don’t have to leave until 10.30.
Lovely cottage and good location for a girls catch up for a few days. Especially opposite a good pub! Beautiful walks all around and stunning Lamport Hall down the road. Cottage is on a busy road/junction but the double glazing is excellent.
Cottage is a little tired and dated in places but roomy and good overall. Could have done with another bathroom upstairs maybe make one of the big rooms en-suite?
Definitely a lack of mirrors in the bedrooms. Little bedroom could do with a long mirror on the wall (plus a rubbish bin). One of the big bedrooms didn’t have a mirror at all.
We really appreciated the goodies in the fridge and the crisps. Many thanks! We had an enjoyable stay.
This is an excellent property that hosted a family stay over the festive period. It is well laid out, very nicely furnished, and cosy yet also spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and a delight to cook in, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are also to a very high standard. There are also some lovely rural views out of the windows. It is great to see such a successful blend of period features and modern aspects. Much recommended!
We stayed for a couple of nights in this newly refurbished cottage. Nice and warm, great logburner, well equipped and good communication with Amy. Would thoroughly recommend especially as the pub is just over the road
Beautiful house that is spacious yet cosy, with log fires and beautiful views
This is an ideal house for walkers, pub goers and family days out. We walked directly from the house via all the back lanes into the country and up to Maidwell where we had a fab time at the Stag pub and caught the X7 home to our doorstep.
We also had a lovely evening in the Swan just over the road, they do good food at a reasonable price. we also ventured to Marketing Harborough which is just stuning and has a direct bus (20 mins).. but the best part of holiday was the house itself... immaculately clean and had everything.
Thanks Amy, we hope to be back
