You will be blown away by the views at this newly renovated Scandinavian style home in the car limited village of Wengen. Attention has been taken to every single detail. Beautiful interior design is combined with quality furnishings, original artwork, and a mountain oasis to create a unique space.



The mesmerising cogwheel train ride from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen takes 11 minutes and sets the scene for a your Alpine holiday at Chalet Iris.



The living-dining-kitchen is impeccably furnished, beautifully decorated and offers stunning views of the Lauterbrunnen valley and surrounding mountains.



There are 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has kingsize double bed (180x200cm) and ensuite shower room, the second bedroom has a kingsize double bed (180x200cm) and the third bedroom has twin beds (each 90x200cm) which can also be zipped together to form a double. A separate bathroom with bathtub and overhead shower serves these two rooms and a separate utility room houses the washing machine and dryer and just off the entrance hall is a guest cloakroom.

Everything we could have wanted

The view from Chalet Iris is spectacular. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch with our family and taking in the incredible scenery. The house itself was also fantastic. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We used the kitchen to make a family meal and things like a fondue pot were there for us to make it special. All in all, it's one of the best places we've ever stayed.

One of the best rentals ever. Probably because of the views but the home itself is beautifully redone. Our kids did great with the walk uphill to town a couple times per day. Greta customer service!

Unbelievable views from the patio!

Charming accommodations with a view that is so amazing it looks fake. The hike up to town can be challenging but there is nothing that you can do about. The staff’s efforts to provide rides for my wife who had broken her foot prior to the trip were very much appreciated

We arrived at night and had no idea what was in store the next morning. When we awoke, we were greeted by the most amazing view we’ve ever seen! The chalet showcased the view in such a beautiful way. The chalet itself was very nicely appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout. You could tell the appointments were new. Everything was very well done and very comfortable. The shower drain in the bathroom was backed up since the first day making it very uncomfortable to shower. You would have to reduce the flow of water such that it was a trickle or off completely so it wouldn’t overflow and flood the floor. I reported this the first day but it wasn’t fixed while we were there.
