Milano!

Lovely spot in a lively neighborhood. Clean and simple, great location. Tram stop right across the street, as is a really cool Spanish bar/restaurant and a fabulous coffee shop, Cafezal, that stood out in a city and country known for its coffee culture. Glad we booked this spot.

I enjoyed the location of the property and I did not enjoyed that the owner could not help us to hold the suitcase from 9 am to check in time at 3 , as we were coming for a 24 hour flight from Bali and we had to walk and look for storage as she adviced.

Generally speaking, it was an OK apartment. Not very impressive. Only good thing was that there was Excellent transport links from property. Disappointed with the heating , very cold house, asked the owner about the heating but nothing happened. Also disappointed with the host’s welcome , although she was there to receive us, we got the feeling she just wanted to leave as soon as she gave us the keys. There was no fire regulations explained ( no written info about heating or gas anywhere) There were no basic items like salt/ pepper in the house. The coffee mugs were all chipped. The tea spoons weren’t clean. The tray in the oven had crumbs of food , I had to clean it out. No serving spoons. No courtesy welcome pack, it’s not mandatory, but would have been nice!! (Many hosts usually do this.) Overall, the main bonus was that the apartment was central, however I’m not tempted to go back there.
