Beautiful apartment surrounded by bars, restaurants, and massage parlours.
We had to first go to the Homing office to pick up the keys and the people there were not able to give us very clear directions to the nearby apartment, but it still wasn’t too difficult to find. The keys were poorly cut and always difficult to use, including a second set we requested a couple days later. The kitchen is set up with nearly new top line Bosch appliances. But half the pots there do not work on the induction cook top. On arrival, closet doors in both bedrooms were jammed, off the tracks. The Homing office sent a repairman so we could access the sheets and blankets. The patio lounge chairs were both destroyed but after we called them, they sent over two new ones. The sheets were all the wrong size, too small. We had to use two sets to fully cover the mattress! One night water started pouring out of our bathroom ceiling light fixtures. I was unable to contact the people upstairs and Homing did not answer their phones. I had to call a Homing office in another city to get help. Homing gave me a local emergency number after that. One week later during a huge rain storm, water started pouring like a river into the apartment under the doors. The emergency number turned out to be incomplete and did not work. I managed to find a neighbour who called the building manager for help. The rest of our stay was uneventful luckily and as it was off season, our area was not too noisy and in a great location for easy walking to everywhere! We really enjoyed the apartment overall and the Homing office were very helpful, when I was able to reach them.
