Relax and enjoy time with your family and friends in this gorgeous custom built log home on a 3.5-acre private lot. Breathtaking views of the Continental Divide, Winter Park & Mary Jane ski slopes and Byers Peak. This home can sleep a party up to 16 people(contact for additional sleeping requirements as our neighbors have a rental property as well)! This is a great reunion home with so many amenities such as a 1,200 sq. ft. deck with seating, dining & grill, hot tub, large fire pit area, a variety of games such as ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard in the basement recreation room. Custom bar, Direct TV, wifi, a 20-minute drive to lakes or ski resorts in either direction, 10 minutes to 2 grocery stores and endless hiking right out the back door and view enjoyment! So many vacation memories can be made in this wonderful log home!

Perfect place for a family reunion!

This is a beautiful estate with a beautiful view and all of the Colorado vibes. More than enough room for 13 of us. The deck behind the house has views of several 13k-foot peaks with the Winter Park ski runs visible with the naked eye. The kids in our group had a blast with ping pong, shuffleboard, and the massive theater screen TV. The grown-ups enjoyed the very well-appointed kitchen and the pantry had all the staples. We had a fabulous time and will likely stage our next reunion in this very house.

My friends and I spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property. Mango Lodge was absolutely gorgeous and was an easy driving distance from everything we wanted to do. We have even talked about going back to Mango Lodge next year, we loved it so much! Thanks Shelli!

Great House

This is our group's 22nd year of trips to 22 different resorts and this year's house was one of the best if not the best. It was clean, spacious, and beautiful. I would highly recommend it!

Fantastic!

Our stay was a wonderful experience all around. The house was perfect for multiple families with a wide age range of children. The house was the best stocked/appointed home we’ve ever rented; it had everything we would have at home and more. Shelli was extremely responsive, friendly, and welcoming. I won’t bother looking for another property next time I visit the area - this has everything we would ever want or need.

Sunrise-Sunset Views; Homeowners thought of everything

This mountain getaway is perfect for a large group. Our family reunited from all over the country and we never felt we had to leave the house - with all of the activities right out the backyard (firepit, hot tub, relaxing views) plus all of the action indoors - movie theater, enormous game room, and every board game you can think of. It's an easy drive to grocery stores plus entertainment in both directions! We saw deer and fox while visiting. We highly recommend this property!

Spectacular

This property is absolutely breathtaking! The pictures don’t do it justice. The owner is very responsive and helpful in every way. The property is located with a spectacular view of everything and we even had some moose walk through the yard! We have a large group that all has different needs and expectations and this house and owner did not let us down. Highly recommended! Wish I could rate it higher than five stars. We were all very sad we had to leave and look forward to coming back again next year!

Ideal for a large family visiting from out of town

Outstanding view, ideal location to numerous summer and winter activities, house equipped with all necessities for a perfect vacation! We had enough beds for everyone in our family, and we loved enjoying breakfast on the porch with an amazing view. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table, shuffleboard, foosball table, darts, and card games available. We loved watching football on the tv in the great room as well as on the large projection TV in the basement. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the stay. Everything easy to find, owner provided manual had all required explanations. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Great Property that is Superbly Outfitted

Our extended family of 16 enjoyed Christmas week at the Mango Family property in Winter Park Highlands. This was a perfect fit for our family eight adults, two teens and six children ranging from 2 to nine. The kitchen and pantry are the best provisioned that we have seen in a VBRO property for preparing meals for a large group. The owner's communication and follow up were the best that we have experienced after renting properties in Spain, Italy, France, Hilton Head, SC and the Outer Banks of NC. This was a family ski trip back at the Winter Park Resort after skiing there frequently from 1995-2008 and owning a ski condo in town. The short additional distance to Winter Park Highlands in Tabernash added very little time and the views and settings of the house were worth it.

This house is awesome and in a wonderful location. The property size is amazing with beautiful views. The owners were great to work with and very helpful. I would recommend this place for a nice family and friends getaway.

The lodge was amazing, everything was perfect for our stay. The rustic setting was beautiful. We spent hours outside on the deck, viewing the sites and playing games, We had 8 adults and 6 kids. The kids loved the game room and theater room. The adults loved that they were able to talk as the kids were always entertained. Bedrooms were comfortable. We were close to lots of activities, between Frazier, Grandby, and Winterpark. Did a lot of hiking, exploring, shopping. Also saw a moose and twins about a mile from the lodge. The kitchen and pantry were amazing. It was well stocked for anything we needed. The lodge itself was the vacation— would definitely recommend.

Amazing place

This house is incredible. We had a large group and it was so spacious for all of us. The games, fireplaces, hot tub, and set up were all perfect!!! We were there to ski but we would have loved to just stay in and enjoy this beautiful home. Will definitely be back!

Family/Friends Ski Trip

5 day ski trip. Wonderful home. Well taken care of. Super spacious, perfect set up for kids/families. Kitchen, dining and living room all connected for Great interaction. Kids loved the games in the basement. One of the best properties we’ve ever been to. Close to ski resorts and restaurants. Truly amazing.

Amazing stay at Mango Lodge

Wow, we just returned from a long weekend for a family reunion at the Mango Lodge and I wanted to leave the review to express my full satisfaction with the entire stay. The house was wonderful with lots of room and space for every person in our group. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything anyone would need for days. The communication with property management was quick and easy. Got all questions answered right away and even early check in granted to accommodate traveling family members. The location is prime close to everything and the views are spectacular! We will definitely be back.

Like living in a Hallmark movie!

We had the absolute best time at this property for thanksgiving. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. The views are unbeatable- from sunrise to sunset! We lucked out because we had 30” of snow the day before we arrived. It was magical. The house was perfect for 7 adults and 6 kids. The basement is hours of fun. We will absolutely go back!

Perfect group winter stay

Spent a great family ski weekend here with 3 other families. The kids loved the basement where there is plenty of space and games to play. The upstairs had plenty of space for lounging and enjoying the views and fireplace. Great mud room off the garage to knock off boots and hang all the snow gear. Kitchen and pantry well stocked. A 2nd fridge in the garage!! Also beverage fridges at the bar(s) so plenty of space for drinks and food for bringing a large group. Great large property, huge deck, this place would be great in summer to enjoy the outside. Pictures dont do it justice. Only complaint is that we were only there 3 nights. Next time hopefully longer.

Fun with Friends and Family

This well stocked house with a fantastic view was perfect for our large group of 14. We had beds for everyone and room outside and inside for socializing and group dinners. All of the amenities including ping pong, shuffleboard, and foosball got maximum use. It was a beautiful house in a beautiful setting. We had easy day trips to Rocky Mountain National Park and Winter Park Ski Resort. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!

Beautiful!

The view and group spaces in this home are amazing! As a group with 5 couples, we found a couple of the bedrooms were small (for perspective, there was not room for night stands on each side of the bed) but since we were mostly gathered in group spaces, it was fine. Location is convenient to Winter Park hiking or dining as well as rafting in Kremmling and more summer activities. We would recommend staying here!

Wonderful

Great place for a family reunion with enough bedrooms for privacy yet also large common spaces to get together and enjoy each others company. The surroundings are the Rocky Mountains and it is spectacular.

We have been homeowners in WP Highlands since 1999. We rented our first WP home for several years, from 2001-2011, while we were building our eventual dream home across the street. We have been working on this home for over 8 years, and finally finished it in 2013.
It is not only a great home, we want to help our guests enjoy this special place. and will always be willing to give advice on what to do in the area. Although we are pet lovers, no pets allowed with rentals.

Why they chose this property

The home is made for entertaining. It was designed with large groups in mind. We use it with friends and family in mind. It is used to bring people together. From the kitchen to great room, to circular dining room, it was all designed with large groups in mind. The basement is the ultimate entertainment center with fireplace, large tv, 14-foot shuffleboard table, ping -pong, foosball, and more.
Even with the great 2 floors, the most popular gathering place is either on the deck during warm weather, or around the epic fire pit in the rear during winter or evenings. Although we are pet lovers, no pets allowed with rentals.
