Extremely clean, newly remodeled condo on a secure gated lot. Quiet neighborhood. Hosts were fabulous & easy to communicate with. This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our week long stay. The only thing that would've been nice to have is a microwave, but all cooking pans, utensils & food storage were provided. Even high quality toilet paper! LolFor upcoming guests, just a friendly reminder that the plugs are European style, so make sure that you bring adapter plugs which can be found on Amazon. Power & water are paid for separately. We cooled down the apartment on the first day, then kept one air conditioner on with interior doors open for the rest of our stay. Electricity was about 12 USD per day, including the air conditioning...so to us it was well worth it! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us & being amazing hosts, we had an absolute blast!!! All the best,Tim & Amy Taylor

The perfect getaway

Casa Delicioso is ideally located in a pocket neighborhood at the end of a street providing a peaceful, gated, traffic-free spot to relax from a day of seeing Curaçao’s many sights. Beaches, shopping, hiking, sightseeing - all a few minutes away. The house was spotless when we arrived and we loved the floor plan. The only way to improve upon the property would be to drop it on a beach. The rooftop deck is large and provides great views of the area. Up there, we viewed many of the island’s colorful birds under an open sky with wonderful cooling ocean breezes. Sunsets on the deck are also a treat. One night we lingered under the palapa having wine and laughing under the stars discussing the events of the day. Ingrid and Bas are friendly hosts who offered top-notch suggestions for activities and dining options. Oh and the price for our visit was surprisingly affordable. We highly recommend Casa Delicioso!

The views!!!

First the views, the rooftop is amazing. I’ve been to Curaçao a few times always stayed in the same place, but the rooftop picture peaked my interest. The picture is no justice. WOW!! The property was secure, safe and quiet, front porch awesome. Loved the patio doors opened wide really aired out/ opened up the space. Everything you needed was available and the owners were awesome as well. Check in/ out and communication prompt. I asked last min to stay extra days they accommodated immediately not probably. I would say working with 1full bathroom was a little challenging sometimes. But my friend and I are like sisters we made it work. But it’s in the main room so if you have company over, well might be a lil waiting. Lol Would of liked an all-in-one wash/dry combo instead of just washer. But I made it work just dried my clothes outside in the sun, pretty quickly. So not a big deal. Otherwise beautiful space Id stay again. Thanks

Stijlvol huisje, met verbeteringspunten

Een leuk huisje, stijlvol ingericht, qua ligging lekker aan de rand van de bebouwing. Maar qua constructie niet echt slim bij hoge temperaturen. Een plat dak levert een leuk dakterras op, maar ook veel warmte in huis. Rondom het huis zijn verder geen schaduwplekken om te zitten. Het huisje is zeer volledig ingericht: zo'n beetje elk keukenapparaat denkbaar. Maar alles is wel echt low-budget, zo ook de Chinese airco die behoorlijk z'n best moest doen om de slaapkamer op temperatuur te krijgen. Verder best veel zaken die niet goed overdacht zijn. Dikke handdoeken drogen bijv. niet aan plastic opplakhaakjes: die gaan stinken. Er is geen lichtschakelaar die het doet in de buurt van de slaapkamers om 's nachts de woonkamer te betreden, en er waren ook geen bedlampjes. De erg laag gemonteerde hangtoiletpotten kraken gevaarlijk, en de drain van de douche stinkt een uur na gebruik al stevig (sifon te ondiep of niet goed gemonteerd). Oplossen van veel van die kleine missers zouden het op een hoger niveau tillen. Ik schrijf dit vanuit een huisje op Aruba wat ongeveer het tegenovergestelde is: echt gemaakt om buiten te leven (veel schaduw, buitenkeuken), spartaanser qua faciliteiten, maar alles klopt, en alle keukengerei is van hoge (horeca) kwaliteit. En met een LG Dual Inverter airco die deze veel grotere (binnen-)ruimte binnen 10 minuten op temperatuur heeft. Dit huisje heeft daarbij ook nog (veel) natuurlijke ventilatie in de nok, die dus de werking van de airco weinig beïnvloedt.

We hebben inmiddels enkele verbeteringen doorgevoerd, zoals: - Het vervangen van de ophanghaakjes door stevigere opties. - Het installeren van bedlampjes in de slaapkamers voor extra gemak. - Het aanpassen van de afvoerinstallatie in de douche om geuroverlast te voorkomen. We streven ernaar om ons huisje volledig en comfortabel in te richten, zodat het aan de behoeften van al onze gasten voldoet. Hoewel we begrijpen dat er persoonlijke voorkeuren kunnen zijn met betrekking tot de inrichting en apparatuur, zijn we blij dat u aangaf dat alles aanwezig was en dat het huis van alle gemakken was voorzien. Onze keuze voor de airconditioning is gebaseerd op betrouwbaarheid en het leveren van comfort, iets waar we veel positieve reacties op krijgen. Wat betreft de handdoeken: we begrijpen dat voorkeuren hiervoor kunnen verschillen. Veel van onze gasten waarderen de dikke handdoeken voor extra comfort, en we hebben ook een droogrek ter beschikking waar deze opgehangen kunnen worden. Daarnaast bieden we zowel dikke als dunnere handdoeken aan, zodat iedereen een keuze heeft die past bij zijn of haar voorkeur. We begrijpen dat u ons huis vergelijkt met een andere accommodatie. Hoewel we die locatie niet kennen en de omstandigheden en prijzen daar wellicht verschillen, zien we uw opmerkingen als waardevolle input voor verbetering. Het ruime dakterras blijft een van de unieke kenmerken van ons huis, waar veel gasten van genieten vanwege het uitzicht en de sfeer. Wij zijn trots op deze voorziening en blijven ons inzetten om het comfort in de rest van het huis op hetzelfde hoge niveau te houden. Nogmaals bedankt voor uw input.
