With the sound of the spring feed, fresh water Glenwood Pond cascading over the dam, this tranquil and scenic location makes an idyllic location for the ultimate island get-away. Located only minutes away from the iconic West Point Lighthouse, red sand beach and Lighthouse Willy's restaurant at the West Point Harbour, ON GLENWOOD POND provides luxury, fully equipped accommodation's for up to seven ( 7 ) PFA'S ( people from away ) guests. Our 2 story, 3 bedroom home has 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 bedroom with queen size bed and 1 single bed for the kid's! Each bedroom is also equipped with a 3 piece en-suite! A fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities are also provided for your convenience.
Located at the intersection of highway 14 and 139, the Coastal Scenic highway ( Rte 14 ) will take you to North Cape and the famous Wind Observatory.
A short 15 minute drive into the town of O'Leary, the vacationer will find the local grocery, liquor and gas bar. For those that want to take a vacation from cooking there are four local eateries as well. Maple House Bakery, Vinny's Take-out, Canadian Potatoe Museum and the Backwoods Breakaway Burgers.
Those that wish to stay put, the Brook Trout fishing in Glenwood Pond is said to be some of the best on the island ( don't forget your fishing license )!

Beautiful home in a peaceful setting

FANTASTIC!!!

We arrived to a wonderful personal greeting from the home owner, who gave us a personal tour. Greg is the best host! Home is even more beautiful than expected. Well equipped and clean, modern yet full of charm, character and so cozy. We stayed for an amazing 5 nights. The kids loved it so much they wanted to stop the touring and just go back to the house! Great stay!

Incredible home on a pond in rural PEI. My coworker and I were in the area for work for two weeks and this space is massive for just the two of us, kitchen had everything you need, beds were comfortable, and location was great. Greg was very responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to come back when I’m not working! Thanks so much

Perfect "down time"

After having been on the move for over a week, we were so glad to "kick back" on Glenwood Pond. The house was spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was welcome during a heat wave. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful.

First Trip to PEI

For our first trip to PEI this was the perfect stay! The owners were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived to Glenwood Pond! We definitely enjoyed our time there for sure! The view and sound of the waterfall was especially beautiful! Perfect place to get away to and relax, it was nice and quiet! We also had a great time playing a few games in the evenings! Thank you again for hosting us! We enjoyed every minute of it! ☺️

Serine and peaceful

This was by far our favorite vacation spot . The house we stayed at was equipped with everything we needed . It was located in a very quiet location but easily accessible to groceries and sites to visit . The pond beside the house had a wonderful sound that lulled us to sleep for a perfect afternoon nap . We drove all over PEI filling our days with adventure ,then happily drove back to make our meals and relax on the deck . There were quiet beaches found 10 min away from the house .every evening we drive to a new beach and searched for sea life, shells and beach glass. We highly recommend this location if you enjoy escaping the hussel and bussel . We will for sure be back !

I can't say enough about this property! It was absolutely fabulous! The amenities were all top-notch. Greg was a joy to have as a "landlord." He was responsive to all our inquiries and even went above and beyond to help us purchase AND COOK lobsters for our last meal!! Thank you, Greg and Joanne, for a wonderful experience!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. Arrived to find everything you could possibly need and the place was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at. The owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay and Greg even met us upon arrival so he could explain a few things about the home. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute we were there. If you are looking for a wonderful place to relax and just enjoy yourself this is the place to be. Be sure and visit the wonderul beach (ten minute drive away and never overly crowded). You won't be disappointed booking this home.

West end haven

We came to PEI for the first time, not really knowing what to expect. The location that some have mentioned as being away from things was not our experience; the drive to and from some of the sites was part of our adventures. We loved having such a wonderful home to return to at the end of the day! Very well equipped and so many thoughtful touches: boxes of tissues, fly swatters, flashlights and communication during a short power outage, laundry baskets, etc...etc...etc... Meeting the owner, Greg, at check in helped us to learn about the property and know the light switches, etc... GPS lists O'Leary as the town; not to worry! One and the same. Communication was timely with Greg. If we ever come back, no hesitation whatsoever in booking again!

Weekend Wedding

The house was perfect for our long weekend. It was everything we needed: comfortable, roomy, beautiful location. The 3 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, were excellent and the kitchen and living room were roomy, well equipped and extremely comfortable. We were in the area for a wedding and would happily stay there again if we are in the area in the future.

Lovely home on Glenwood Pond

Beautifully clean home and grounds with all modern amenities. We enjoyed our stay and the surrounding area. Some very nice and not crowded beaches a short drive away. (Visit one of the local warfs during lobster season to get them as fresh as can be!) The hosts were fantastic, and really went out of their way to be helpful!

Hole away from home

Greg was pleasure to deal with. Glenwood Pond has great history and the house and property are stunning. The house was the perfect size for my family of 4 adults and 2 teenagers on vacation. Not far from the Coop for supplies and was a decent distance from my site seeing attractions. Glenwood Pond will disappoint you.

Wonderful stay at Glenwood Pond

The house is beautiful. Very clean. Had everything that we needed and more. Spacious and comfortable. My husband and I had my 12-year-old nephew with us to visit PEI and he loved it! He was able to have his own bedroom and he especially liked having his own bathroom as well. Greg and Joanne are extremely nice and were always immediately available if we had any questions. The pond and surrounding area are amazing. It was so relaxing to open the windows at night and listen to the falls. I don't think I ever slept so well in my life. Gorgeous sunsets from the back porch while we grilled a few steaks. Close to West Point and I thought it was in a great area, not that far away from everything we wanted to see. It was a wonderful vacation week at the island and I would definitely stay here again. Would recommend it to others as well.

Perfect Get Away

On Glenwood Pond is a beautiful house in a quiet corner of PEI. It is a bit of a drive to the tourist attractions but completely doable and totally worth it. The house is very well appointed- everything you need and some. It was immaculate and the setting is lovely. Super location to explore the North Cape- a part of the island often missed by tourists but well worth the time. Highly recommend!!
