The property was great. The condo was really roomy. Location was great. The elevators were the worst. They were slow and didn't work most of the time of our stay.

Beautiful view!

Check in and out process was easy. We arrived before our check in time, parked in the garage and went to the beach. The view from our condo was beautiful. The furniture could use a fabric cleaning, had a lot of stains (we put a clean bedspread over the couch to use it). The property is well maintained and clean. The one and biggest downfall are the elevators as most have stated. They are very slow especially in the morning and dinner time.

Very nice property. The upkeep is well maintained. The location is fantastic for walking to Pier Park and Winn Dixie. The gym, spas and inside pool a plus.

Big pools, easy beach access

The pictures on the listing do not match real life. The bathrooms were outdated. The dishwasher had some issues with standing water. Elevators are slow especially around dinner time. For the price we paid we will not be returning I didn’t feel it was worth the money spent.

We had a great time during our stay! When we arrived however there was a stain on the chair, the side basket in the refrigerator was slightly broken and the bathroom door in the master bedroom was hard to open and close.

Not what we expected

When we arrived the handle to the stove was halfway off, we notified maintenance and he came and looked at it and never returned to fix it. One of the bathrooms didn't even have a light fixture over the light and when you looked there was a metal bucket around the light in the ceiling. The room was ok but not what we expected.

Nice condo with beautiful view!

The condo was nicely furnished, comfortable beds, plenty of room for 4-6 adults to stay. Beautiful views of the gulf Within the unit, the only challenge was the wiring of the various switches which was a bit confusing and in some cases, the lights and fans couldn't be operated independently which made operations of the lights somewhat of a hassle. As far as the property, as is usually the case with large high-rise units, there aren't enough elevators and they are slow during busy times. Additionally, the property doesn't allow for loading/unloading in front of the building so getting luggage and groceries from the parking deck across the street was VERY inconvenient. When we were leaving on Sunday there were so many people congregated around the elevators on the 2nd floor cross-walk waiting on carts and elevators, we had to ask people tp move so we could back out our car. Definite opportunity for the rental company and property to improve this process. Finally, just a pet peeve about add-on fees - include them in the rental and provide the parking passes and wrist bands before check-in. The "Hospitality" app made access to the unit, parking deck and pool a breeze, but having to physically pay the $25 resort fee and pick up the bands and packing pass somewhat negated the convenience as it was yet another line in which you had to wait.

Great room bad AC

We initially loved the condo but the AC would not go below 75. The second day the AC stopped cooling altogether so we went a good part of the day waiting for it to be fixed only to find out it needed to be replaced so we would be switched to another condo. I contacted panhandle which she assured me she would "work on it as soon as I got off the phone with her". So an hour later no call. Mind you we have 4 kids in 80 degree room and I called back to check the status. I was told by the same lady "it's only been 45 min ma'am". It was a little over an hour and I never once was rude to any one because I knew it wasn't their fault so I don't know who it was working that day but very unprofessional and rude to YOUR guests!! We paid to be there, you didn't pay us. Robin called me and upgraded us to a beautiful and bigger condo which made our stay in PBC so much better. i would recommend this condo now that the AC has been replaced.

Nice condo.

The condo itself was awesome. The problem was the wait on the elevators. We had to wait an average of 10 to 20 minutes everytime we caught the elevator. Twice during our stay an elevator was closed down for repairs. The beach was great and no complaints about the condo. Just those darned elevators. Other than that, we loved it.

Not thrilled

To start, I was absolutely thrilled with the app that had all info in place upon check in-was very excited about our stay! Upon check in, we were missing all pillowcases and only 3 towels in a room for 8, which they did take care of quickly after I called. A few things were broken or not working well-the dryer is a nightmare! Please replace the dryer! It would take 4-5 cycles to dry one load. The kitchen wasn't stocked well for cooking. No pitcher or baking sheet. Couldn't cook a lot of our food without a baking sheet. Storage was absolutely horrible. No dressers with drawers, no real closet in the master, no storage in bunk room. We had to use the pantry for clothes. The rooms were also VERY small. Bathrooms also so tiny we couldn't put all our stuff on the counter space bc there was none. Hot water was next to none. After two short showers, the rest of us would have to take ice cold showers. I only got one hot shower the whole week we were there. There are no mirrors outside the bathrooms which made getting ready difficult because people were in the showers while the ladies had to do hair and makeup. Maybe put up some mirrors in the bedroom for an alternative dressing space. Very difficult to have everyone get ready in a timely manner. The fire alarm kept blaring one day and night on and off (for absolutely no reason-just randomly). That night we were told no one could fix it until the next day. Luckily it went off on it's own after about an hour. We had to vacate the rooms several times because it was so loud (it was just our room, not the resort alarm). I definitely will not stay at this property again. I have used Panhandle Getaways before with no issues, but this room definitely was not worth the money. Much better places to stay in PCB. I also suggest this company have emergency nightly maintenance for serious issues that need immediate assistance (such as the fire alarms). On a positive note, the decor was great! Room was pretty clean. Just very small for 8 people, or even 6 people honestly. But the weather was great and overall we enjoyed our trip!

Great location!

We couldn't have asked for a better location and view and would highly recommend this location. We liked the security of the Tidewater complex. The size of the condo, the amenities of the Tidewater, and the convenience of the location made our month very enjoyable. The condo is pretty and adequately furnished. Beds were very comfortable. The living room furniture and dining room furniture, although attractive to look at, had a good bit of wear and was not comfortable to sit on but we managed. The WIFI was good and connectivity was there most of the time, although the last week it was hard to access, which made things difficult for me since I was working and needed to be on my laptop. When we had a maintenance issue, we called and it was taken care of immediately. Overall, I would rate this condo as a 3.5 or 4.

The condo was beautiful but it lacked the homey feel. We had to go purchase toilet paper and paper towels because the stocked ones were of terrible quality. There was no hand soap in the entire condo either. The decorations were beautiful and the beds comfy. Overall, we would book again if there were a few more amenities inside the cond .

Great view from the balcony

We had a great stay at Tidewater Beach Resort and enjoyed the condo. We loved sitting on the balcony. The view was wonderful. Pier Park was fun and close enough to walk.

Amazing Views - Best Beach Vacation Ever!

OMG! We had never been to the beach in September but we were blown away by how much fun we had and the we were so pleased with choice to stay at Tidewater Beach Resort! I can't wait to reserve this same condo - we have found out beach paradise! I am so glad that Ann with Panhandle Getaways helped us pick the perfect place to stay. We really liked that we could walk to Pier Park and we just made reservations for JazzFest 2015 in April.

Best vacation

We had 8 in our party and it was the best time for all of us! Our ages range from 2-42!! And this was one of the best vacations! Condo was beautiful inside and out! We actually stayed an extra night which was no problem! We were able to see dolphins every day!! Panhandle was able to accommodate all of our needs and a big thanks to esp Stacey! She was awesome! Thanks panhandle for a great vacation!

Breathtaking view, perfect location, every convenience at my fingertips!

My first time staying in PCB and there were so many choices. Panhandle Getaways made this vacation very simple. I had everything I needed sent to me before arrival so no long check in lines, I went right up to the condo. When we opened the door I was amazed! Updated, modern furnishings, ceramic tile flooring throughout so it was crisp and clean. The master bedroom offered an INCREDIBLE bed with pillow top mattress that made it hard to leave in the morning. The adjacent master bath was spacious and even the smallest of items were attended to with toiletries and soft, luxurious towels. Our guest bedroom also had their own private bath with all the same perks and ample closet space. We didn't need the bunk area but had we brought others along this is the perfect area to let the children have their own secluded space and the hall bathroom with stand up shower would be right there for them. I didn't realize this condo slept 8 as the sofa in the living area pulled out to sleep two additional persons. We ate at the counter bar shared by the kitchen and dining area and set up the computer on the dining table as there was FREE WIFI in the condo. Every night you'd find us out on the balcony watching the sun set and listening to the waves hit the beach, it was peaceful, calming and if it could be bottled I'd buy it! We ate at Liza'a Munchies several times on the 2nd floor above the lobby. Their wings are really incredible and the servers know you by name by your second time there. They offer room service as well, what more could you ask for on vacation. I visited the fitness center but didn't venture in, it looked great. It's a wall of windows so if you wanted to exercise you'd do it watching the surf and sand. We also didn't get to the movie theater but we did use all three pools including the indoor pool. Every night someone was grilling out and the aroma from the BBQ's made our mouths water. We spent time at Pier Park, just a long walk or quick drive east taking in restaurants and shopping. They have everything there! I will return here in the future and thank the team at Panhandle Getaways for their assistance and guidance, we had a spectacular time.
