Bait & Switch

I received a text a few hours before check in asking if we were still coming! Obliviously we were it was paid in full and no refund. The host informed us Vrbo made a mistake and the property was no longer available. After we confirmed we were on our way the host then said the property was damaged and non rentable. They gave us an option of a nearby property not what we wanted but it was okay seeing we were literally 20 minutes from the location. The big problem here is the host lied 🤥 to me. I went to the original rental property and it was occupied with people. There was no damage Vrbo didn’t make a mistake. Maybe they rented for more money or something. I understand but don’t tell stories. It added a lot of stress to my day and vacation. Caution ⚠️ is recommended when using this host!
