Casa Bacci was probably built around the end of the 19th century as farmhouse servicing the adjacent Villa Bacci which was bought by the owner’s great grandfather in 1899. It sits on a hill overlooking the village of Porto Azzurro with magnificent views over the harbour, the Capoliveri hills and the Stella gulf. On clear days it is possible to see the isles of the Tuscan archipelago, Pianosa and Giglio as well as Corsica.
The house is surrounded by its own land, fields and vineyard gently sloping towards the sea and in a unique environmental setting within National Park borders offering maximum quiet even in peak tourist season while only five minutes away from the hustle and bustle of town.
This cozy apartment on the ground floor can lodge up to 4 guests (1 ensuite master bedroom + 1 double bed in mezzazine overlooking main room) . The romantic french doors open onto a spacious garden terrace with magnificent sea views. The garden is equipped with outdoor furniture and everything you need for amazing al fresco dining on summer nights. We also have an apartment on the first floor (6 pax) which can suit large groups wishing to spend their holidays together while enjoying their own privacy.

Unique location within national park

We had a wonderful stay in a unique and quite hause with beautiful view on the sea and the landscape. The house is located a bit outside of Porto Azzuro, up the hill so a car is necessary for shopping and sightseeing trips. Chiara, the landlady is very approachable and supports asap if needed.

super nice and cosy holiday house on a lovely island

we (familiy with 2 kids) had a great time at Casa Bacci! ;-) Everything was exactly as described on the website, the outdoor shower was our favorite place, and at night we were very happy to have air-condition in the rooms! Thanks to the air-condition and very good matresses on all beds (also the kids beds) we could sleep really well and the kids loved their little private corner where they had their own playground and could even "lock" their little door ;-) We really fell in love with Elba and this lovely holiday house! It is a beautiful island: easy to reach, easy to get around, nice beaches (even end of July when we were there we could still find places that were not too crowded) with clear water and lots of fishes, lovely little towns and a very laidback atmosphere. And of course: great food (at good prices)! We were positively surprised that the majority of the tourists were Italian, and not Dutch, German or British ;-) Houseowner Chiara was very friendly and easy to communicate with, even though we never met in "real life", but communication via e-mail and Whatsapp went really smooth. So, we absolutely recommend Elba and Casa Bacci as holiday destination and will hopefully come back once! Ciao, Chiara, and thanks a lot for a great week in your lovely house! Historisches Haus mit fantastischem Ausblick

Absolute Erholung

In diesem traumhaft schönen Anwesen oberhalb von Porto Azzuro kann man sich rundum erholen. Fernab jeglichen Lärms und eingebettet in Weinberge, bietet die Casa alles, was man zum Wohlfühlen braucht. Die Ausstattung ist prima, die Betten mehr als gemütlich und die gesamte Wohnung ist mit Fliegengittern versehen. In ganz heißen Nächten hilft die Klimaanlage… Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war extrem unkompliziert, direkt und freundlich!!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder in diese wunderbare Weinbergcasa! Danke!!!

Super Urlaubsort

Wir hatten 13 traumhafte Tage in der Casa Bacci. Für Familien mit Kinder perfekt. Gemütliche Betten, 2 super Bäder mit Duschen, Moskitonetz an jedem Fenster. Klimaanlage bei Bedarf möglich (- doch Achtung, dann steigt die Stromrechnung am Ende erheblich an)und sogar eine Waschmaschine. Das Haus liegt mitten in der Natur auf dem Hügel und trotzdem nah zu unterschiedlichen schönen Stränden. Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem Abfluss und uns wurde umgehend und sehr freundlich geholfen. Es gibt weitere Wohnungen in dem Haus, zu denen man aber wenig Blickkontakt hat. Das tollste an diesem Ort / besonders dieser Wohnung, ist jedoch der Blick. Einfach fantastisch! Wenn man hier morgens seinen ersten Kaffee trinkt, setzt die Erholung schon ein ;-) und wenn man abends in der Hochsaison nach Hause kommt sind die Touristen vergessen ;-) = wir kommen bestimmt irgendwann wieder. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Schöne Wohnung

Für 2 Erwachsene eine große und auch für 2 Erwachsene mit 1-2 Kinder sehr schöne Wohnung im unteren Teil eines alten Hauses. Grds. gute Ausstattung. 2 getrennte, neue, sehr gute Klimaanlagen für Schlaf- u. Wohn-/Esszimmer. Zwei Duschen& WC & Außendusche. Schöne Terrasse mit tollem Fernblick aufs Meer. Außenausstattung (Esstisch und Liegestühle) müsste erneuert/repariert werden. Direkt an Weinreben gelegen. Zufahrtsweg zieht sich etwas und ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr ruhige und isolierte Lage, dennoch nur 10-15 Minuten Fahrt bis Porto Azzurro. Wer‘s mag, ist hier genau richtig.

Unglaublich schöne Terrasse mit toller Aussicht

Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Woche im Casa Bacci. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Chiara per WhatsApp klappte super. Schnelle Antworten und als wir während unseres Aufenthalts ein kleines Problem mit dem Wasser hatten, hat sie sich sofort gekümmert. Bei Ankunft wurde uns die Unterkunft vom Housekeeper Giovanni ausführlich gezeigt. Da wir kein italienisch sprechen und er kein Englisch, war die Kommunikation zwar nicht ganz leicht, aber es hat trotzdem super geklappt. Vorab bekommt man ein ausführliches Booklet mit allen Hinweisen/Informationen sowie sehr tollen Strand- und Restaurantempfehlungen. Am praktischsten ist jedoch die bebilderte Anfahrtsbeschreibung, da Google-Maps einen hier ansonsten fehlleitet. Obwohl die Unterkunft etwas am Berg liegt klappt die Anfahrt für uns problemlos (auch wenn die Straßen auf Elba generell nicht besonders breit sind). Porto Azzurro ist über kaum befahrene Wege durch einen Weinberg mit einer kleinen Wandererung zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das absolute Highlight für uns war definitiv die wunderschöne Terasse mit einer grandiosen Aussicht. Man sieht das Meer in drei verschiedenen Richtungen und hat einen tollen Blick auf das gegenüberliegende Capoliveri sowie teile Porto Azzurros. Die Außendusche mit Meerblick ist das I-Tüpfelchen! Wir haben super entspannt und kommen bestimmt wieder

Hausteil mit einmaliger Aussicht

Das antike Haus oberhalb von Porto Azzuro bietet eine unvergleichbare Aussicht auf das Meer, die beiden malerischen Orte Porto Azzuro und Capoliveri und die Weinstöcke und Felder. Die beiden Sitzplätze draussen sind herrlich und ruhig.

Eenvoudig huis op prachtige locatie

We huurden een deel van de begane grond van deze oude boerderij, de eigenaresse verbleef in een ander deel. Andere vakantiegangers huurden de bovenverdieping en het huis ernaast. Voor ons (twee volwassenen en twee tieners) was de binnenruimte net voldoende. Het terras dat hoorde bij de begane grond, het uitzicht en de locatie waren geweldig. Zeer behulpzame eigenaresse.

un'oasi di pace e bellezza

Abbiamo trascorso in due una bellissima settimana a casa Bacci. Un'accoglienza cortese e attenta ma discreta. La casa si trova direttamente sopra Porto Azzurro ma fuori dal caos turistico. Indimenticabili le colazioni e le cene sulla terrazza con vista sui vigneti e sul mare. Torneremo!

Familienurlaub wie im Traum

Wir waren als Familie mit mehreren befreundeten Familien unterwegs. Die Casa Bacci bietet 2 Wohnungen für je 4 und 6 Personen. Jede Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr sauber und die Lage ist ein Traum. Man blickt von der Terasse auf Porto Azzurro und das Meer hinunter. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist ausgezeichnet und das Haus hat einen sehr familiären Touch. Ich kann die Casa Bacci nur empfehlen.

Wunderbare Zeit

Immersi nella quiete con una vista meravigliosa

Casa Bacci é l'oasi di pace perfetta per partire all'esplorazione dell'isola. In collina a 5 minuti da Portoazzurro. Io e i miei amici stavamo nell'appartamento al piano terra, dotato di una splendida terrazza dove fare colazione godendo di una spettacolare vista rinfrescandosi con la doccia presente fra gli alberi di fico (potete raccogliere qualcuno di quelli maturi 😊). Chiara é stata presente e rapida a rispondere a tutte le nostre domande via whatsapp e ci ha consigliato spiagge e posti da visitare mentre la signora Fiammetta ci ha accolto al nostro arrivo, gentile e per nulla invadente durante la nostra settimana di permanenza nonostante soggiornasse nell'appartamento accanto al nostro. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa.

Wir haben knapp 2 Wochen zu dritt (2 Erw., 1 Kleinkind) in der Erdgeschosswohnung im September verbracht. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Am tollsten fanden wir die Terrasse und den atemberaubenden Ausblick! Man muss sich im September allerdings auf Mücken einstellen! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Mille gazie!

Wunderbare Lage, altes Haus

Kontaktpersonen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage einmalig und wunderschön! Und die Dusche im Garten unter dem Feigenbaum mit Ausblick auf das Meer etwas besonderes. Der Hausteil für 4 Personen unserer Meinung nach zu eng und klein. Zum Glück waren wir nur zu Zweit! Die Küche mit Geschirr und Utensilien eher ungeeignet zum Kochen, alte Töpfe, Messer, die nicht schneiden, Teller und Geschirr, das nicht wirklich sauber war! Töpfe, an denen man sich verbrennt. Spinnweben in den Ecken. Das Bett mit Matratze viel zu weich! Miete teuer, für das was die Wohnung bietet! Und dazu noch zusätzlichen Kosten für Badetücher und Bettzeug, das nur aus einem Leintuch und Kissenbezug bestand und die teure Stromrechnung. Man nimmt es in Kauf, weil die Lage wie gesagt einmalig ist! Wir geben trotzdem 4 Sterne und die Empfehlung, viel Mückenspray mitzunehmen, da man sonst von ganz kleinen Moskitos gestochen wird! Und dich war es ein wunderbarer Urlaub!

Une location de rêve! La route peut faire un peu peur à première approche mais la vue vaut les efforts! Location très bien équipée, super propre. Accueil de Giovanni impeccable. Super communication en amont avec la propriétaire des lieux. Bref nous recommanderons chaudement et ne chercherons pas ailleurs si nous revenons sur l’Ile d’Elbe.

Erholung pur in ruhiger Traumlage

Wir waren 1 Woche in der Casa Bacchi und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Das antike Bauernhaus hat großen Charme und man könnte einfach nur die ganze Zeit auf der Terrasse sitzen und die Aussicht und die Ruhe genießen. Es fehlt hier an nichts und es gibt genügend Platz. Im Sommer ist die Klimaanlage wohl das wichtigste Ausstattungsmerkmal, das ruhige und kühle Nächte garantiert. Spektakulär ist die Außendusche im Feigenbaum. Wohl die Dusche mit der schönsten Aussicht weit und breit!!! Hier hat alles bestens funktioniert. Von der Planung bis zur Übergabe. Allerbesten Dank an Chiara und Giovanni!!! Wir kommen wieder!!! Wir können die Casa Bacchi nur bestens empfehlen. Für Alleinreisende, Paare und Familien. Für jeden ist hier ein perfekter Platz!!!

"Zauberberg"

Der Ort für Menschen mit Sinn für Natur und schlichte Schönheit. Wir haben ihn „Zauberberg“ genannt. Die touristischen Heerscharen Elbas bleiben unten. Naturpark und Staubstraße schützen hoffentlich noch lange vor mehr Erschließung. Wir haben hier zu zweit „ausgesommert“ - eine Woche in der oberen, eine Woche in der unteren Wohnung. Und beide hatten ihre Reize. Die obere geräumig mit luftigem Schlafzimmer, in dem zwei Fenster mit Mückenschutz bei Bedarf für Durchzug sorgten. Die Küche ist einfach und hat doch hat alles, was man braucht: großer Kühlschrank, Gasherd, Spülmaschine, Toaster, Filterkaffeemaschine und – welch eine Schönheit! - ein altes Marmorspülbecken. Überhaupt ist hier fast alles aus Holz oder Stein. Die untere Wohnung ist kleiner: eine Wohnküche plus Schlafnische (zwei Stufen höher) sowie ein etwas dunklerer Schlafraum mit Doppelbett, rückwärtiger Tür, leider ohne Mückenschutz. Unten ist die große Terrasse der Coup mit ihrem Blick auf zwei Buchten: Östlich über Porto Azzuro geht die Sonne auf; südwestlich über dem Golfo Stella glüht am Ende des Tages das Abendrot – an klaren Tagen mit Korsika-Kulisse, eine echte Schau! Übrigens haben wir auf allen Matratzen wunderbar geschlafen. Beide Wohnungen haben Waschmaschinen, je zwei kleine Bäder und gern genutzte Außenduschen. Es gibt Palmen, Feigen und Opuntien - ein kleines, wildes Paradies. An alles Nützliche ist gedacht. Sehr aufrichtige und sympathische Vermieterin (hervorragend englischsprachig, nicht vor Ort) und ein sehr netter italienischsprachiger Kustode, Giovanni.
