Within a 5-minute walk is a friendly local pub and restaurant, and Chestfield golf course on your doorstep, should you want to enjoy a stroll to amenities after a day in the car exploring this beautiful part of Kent.

We stayed for a week with our son, daughter in law, grandson and small dog.

We stayed for a week with our son, daughter in law, grandson and small dog. Longtye is in a lovely area, close to Whitstable, Canterbury and Tankerton. It’s a good size and the enclosed garden was great for our small dog. Who didn’t manage to find any escape holes. As in previous reviews, it could do with a little updating especially the floorin the kitchen. But that said it’s very well equipped. Also there is a Sainsbury’s and Tesco nearby. We would recommend the nearby Chestfield Barn pub. Over all a lovely stay.
