Dolphin Stone Lodge, Seahouses, sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms.

New addition October 2022 – Dolphin Stone Lodge is newly renovated and offers an excellent high standard of coastal holiday accommodation situated in the seaside and harbour village of Seahouses. Each room is named after features on nautical charts around the Farne and Holy Islands.

Dolphin Stone Lodge has been designed to suit couples wishing to holiday together with all bedrooms having their own shower rooms. Also ideal for special interest groups (bird watching, walking, photography, history, golf, all nearby) wishing to holiday together while offering independence - each bedroom has its own key, private shower room, WC and Smart TV. There is a well-equipped kitchen along with a conservatory/dining/sitting room with Castle and Sea views and benefits from private parking nearby (1 car per room).

On your doorstep are numerous eating places and takeaways. The colourful harbour with trips to the Farne Island bird sanctuary a few minutes’ walk and the beautiful sandy beach stretching for miles to Bamburgh and beyond.

N.B. Reduced rates and short breaks available for 1/2 bedrooms out of season (exc. New Year).

Bedroom 3 – Jenny Bell Carr

Double bed, Smart TV. Separate bathroom opposite with exclusive use.

Bathroom with shower over bath, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail and under floor heating.

Bedroom 4 – Oyster Scarp

King size zip link bed (can be set up as a twin on request), hanging space, chest of draws and Smart TV. En suite shower room with shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

Kitchen with electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and microwave.

Step up into

Conservatory with comfy seating, dining table and chairs with Castle and Sea views.

Town: A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
