Haus Waldblick

We have recently stayed at Haus Waldblick and it was a memorable holiday. It provides a comfortable apartment with good beds, great kitchen and living room and fantastic views. It is within short walking distance to a bakery and also to the local ski area. Well recommended.

Review of Landhaus Waldblick in Wald am Arlberg

Our family (parents + 3 young boys) stayed at Landhaus Waldblick for 1 week in January 2018 and had an absolutely wonderful holiday. Apartment 2 provides a large living space with associated kitchen plus 3 well sized bedrooms. The apartment was warm, there was plenty of hot water, the kitchen facilities were modern and easy to cook for a family and the beds were comfortable. As a comparison, we have lived in various houses in the Vorarlberg and Tirol for the last 34 years and we found Landhaus Waldblick to be exceptional. It is a 5 minute walk to the local store selling fresh bread and good coffee and a 10 minute walk to Sonnenkopf ski area. Furthermore it is a 5 minute walk to a bus stop providing access to the adjacent towns for shopping, restaurants and skiing. Alternatively it is easy to call a taxi or use your own vehicle. We intend to return every ski season to Landhaus Waldblick as it provides comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price.

Gute Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet und perfekt gelegen, um mit dem Bus in nur wenigen Minuten ins Skigebiet zu gelangen. Auch der Skikeller zum Aufbewahren der Ausrüstung ist sehr praktisch. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub und kommen gerne im nächsten Jahr wieder.

Mooie vakantiewoning

Voor ons een klein minpuntje dat er geen microgolf was. Wij zouden verkiezen dat de zitbank staat waar de eethoek is en omgekeerd omdat je dan 's avonds gezelliger rond TV kan samenzitten dan in de hoekbank. Wij zijn nu wel niet het type dat tot 's avonds laat in de après ski bars hangt, maar gewoon lekker chillen met de familie en thuis een aperitiefje. Slaapkamers OK - ruime skikelder om schoenen en ski's in weg te zetten - voldoende materiaal aanwezig om de sneeuw te ruimen. Badkamer vrij klein - eventueel per kamer een andere kleur handdoeken zodat ze niet verwisseld geraken. Mocht de wand van de douche bv geblendeerd worden, dan kan iemand zich aan de lavabo gelijktijdig wassen. We waren heel tevreden met ons verblijf en is zeker aan te raden. Tip : de informatie van rondom klopt niet echt meer helemaal : de bakker aan Spulersee is er niet meer, je moet nu via de website van het nieuwe café daar 's avonds voor 19u verse broodjes bestellen en je kan die dan vanaf 7u in dat café afhalen. Ook de glascontainers staan daar niet meer. eventueel een lijstje maken van alles wat in de gele zak mag/kan : in België wordt plastic nl helemaal anders gesorteerd dan in Oostenrijk : bij ons moeten metalen blikken en tetrabrick bv wel in de PMD zak ... Een lijstje leggen van de kanalen op tv die wel werken zodat je geen 1000 zenders moet aflopen om te zien waar er iets te zien is (wij zijn nl. altijd op zoek naar de zender (ORF of één van de Duitse) waar je 's morgens de skigebieden ziet met de verwachte temperaturen en live beelden ...
