A wonderfully bright place and location for our second time in Cusco. Plenty of room and the bed was comfortable. Handy to cafes, local mercados, and San Blas plaza.
My husband, my brother and I had a 6 days trip in Cuzco and this sweet home is very well located. Very walkable to the main square and with good restaurants nearby. Highly recommened it
This is a 3rd floor walk-up apartment, which is not disclosed. Locating the entrance is not obvious and wasn’t communicated. There are many yappy dogs nearby who bark day and night. Otherwise location was as expected, and it is very clean. However we had to purchase standard items like dish detergent, extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc.
We had a nice stay. Coming from the United States is a bit shocking not having hot water in all the showers and sinks at all times. My kids were comfortable with room temperature water. Its not a big deal really. If you wait to shower in the afternoon, the water will be HOT. Since the water tank up in the roof, it gets naturally hot with the afternoon sun which is strong. We came in June, when it gets cold at night.Heating system is not a common thing in Cusco. However Portable Heaters were provided to us which was great. Bedrooms have heavy heavy blankets. You won't be cold .Communication with owner was excellent. Anything,I needed was provided almost immediately. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
The property is beautiful inside and has everything a family would need. Blankets are lovely and bed is comfortable. We had problems receiving confirmation on address from our host leaving us stranded - cab driver also was not sure. Eventually that was sorted out. The location of this place is pretty good, easy to get to and uber was good. The BIG problem was the barking dogs. The host will tell you it is stray dogs and out of her control and it is rare,, but I was up all night and saw it was coming from the PETS left outside under the bedroom window and they barked steady for all three nights. We are all exhausted and crabby. I wish there were more reviews warning people. Another couple cancelled their reservation and left because they were unable to sleep. The windows are thin so it sounds like they are barking in the room with us.The big problem is the barking dogs.
