Villas Serenidad contains two custom-built hardwood villas and one larger home, each with vaulted cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans and a spectacular view of the ocean. Each overlooks lush tropical gardens, designed by an award-winning landscape designer. We are 50 meters from the surf, at the quiet Playa Negra beach.
Take a 20 –minute stroll down the beach, or a 5-minute car ride, to the bohemian, laid-back & culturally-diverse town of Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. Puerto Viejo contains delicious restaurants, fun shopping, and opportunities for surfing, jungle hikes, river-rafting, zip-lines, chocolate tours, animal sanctuary, yoga classes, snorkeling, horseback riding, and paddle boarding.

It’s ideal for couples (cozy up in one of the smaller villas), families (we’ve got a 3-bedroom home for rent too:), girlfriend getaways (we can sleep at least 12-14 on the property), or retreats (there is no more perfect spot on this coast, IF you want to be right AT the beach, doing yoga, teaching, etc).
