The studio - completely separate from the rest of the house - is simply furnished with a double bed, dining table, separate kitchenette, bathroom with shower.

Own entrance and direct access to the garden, pool with furniture, pergola and barbecue.

Our house is full of cats and dogs, so if you are not a cat and dog lover we must ask you to choose another accommodation in Oia so as not to disappoint you.

Couldn't Have Been Better!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we could not have enjoyed our holiday more and could not have been better looked after by Christa. Her apartment was exactly as described and perfectly equipped with everything one could need in the first few days. Santorini is expensive, but self catering certainly helped with our expenditure. Christa was immensely helpful from writing down in Greek a cut of meat for the butcher to organising our boat trip. What an extraordinary lady! Kind, thoughtful and generous, the best hostess with an amazing pied a terre for two.

Easy, happy, and delightful

The warmth Christa exudes starts as you make your way to the front gate and you see her waving you in. The rescue dogs and cats are part of the welcome and they are effortless to be around. Soon you are enveloped in the delightful and happy colours of her suite and gaze out at the soft blue and pink sunrise or sunset and feel the aqua sparkle of the well maintained pool. The bed was big and comfortable and the kitchen delightful with its herb wallpaper dancing across its " pinkitude". The bath products in the bathroom are high quality and everything is thought through. The decor suggests how Santorini and its colours must have felt long before it became more developed, We liked that as it felt authentic. We loved that it was just off the pedestrian street for quiet sleeps, and soon we found some of the best sources for baked goods and food. Christa made us feel at home and went the extra mile when we expressed interest in how Santorini started and has changed over time. Her energy and enthusiasm and interest in humanity make her a very special host.

Dear guests, I will be 80 this year. My husband and I had a small hotel in Oia that we sold in 2014. In our new house I have now set up this studio for guests so that I don't completely lose touch with the world. I lost my husband last year. I work in animal welfare on the island.

The house is very centrally located, but still only 3 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the village. It also has a fantastic view over the Aegean Sea and other Cyclades islands.
