Another excellent stay

We have been travelling to PAB for decades. This is our second stay at a property owned by this gracious host, Carlos. The property is excellent in all respects - as is the host who is a true gentleman.

Fantastic place

We were very happy here. The house is great as per the posting. However we were also very impressed with the beach and town. Lots of wonderful restaurants and not too busy. Close enough to various other interesting places for day trips. Carlos was very nice. Definitely recommend.

Great stay in a beautiful place

The house is very well equipped and perfect for a family stay. The location is also outstanding, in a very quiet environment and very close to an unspoiled, beautiful beach. Carlos was always very helpful and available for everything we needed. We strongly recommend this area and this particular villa. Many thanks Carlos,

perfection

Carlos and his house were both ideal. He is gracious, responsive, kind, and professional. The house had everything we could need. We have never stayed in a place so well appointed. The location and views were hard to leave. For a family of four, we loved the decks, pool, and pool table. Its a great location to relax, walk to town, surf, or explore the region. Thank you Carlos for opening your house to us. We hope to stay with you again.

Excellent

We are a family of five having just returned from a wonderful holiday. The villa was modern having everything you could possibly need and was immaculately presented. Unfortunately, the photos do not do it justice. There are sea views from every window, not to mention the amazing sunsets! The host Carlos was very welcoming and was available to contact if needed. A big thank you Carlos. We would definitely consider returning at some point in the future.

Our stay was amazing!! The views are breathtaking and the house is very clean and well-equipped to make you comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The house was perfect for us. We were there for our son’s wedding at the Alta and it was close to the venue. It was very quiet at night and there was no road noise. The bedrooms have patios and you can open the doors and windows for lots of fresh air and ocean views. Carlos was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to take care of us. Our rental car would not start and he helped us arrange for a tow truck and taxi. I would highly recommend staying! 10

Beautiful Villa with spectacular view

We spent our holliday in August 2017 with a family of five in this practical new, spacious and well equipped villa of Carlos. Carlos is a perfect host, who has given us a warm welcome and all the assistance and help we needed. The Villa is lying on the highest part of the village, which gave us a perfect view over the village, the beach and the ocean. Close by the Villa (5-10 minutes walk, with a rather steep descent ) there is a small beach which is not guarded but was our favoutite because the more or less private character of it. We had to get used to the climate: rather fresh and damp in the morning followed by a sunny afternoon. The fact that the temperature was not that high we experienced as pleasant. The house, the pool, the view, the facillities, the euipment and all was perfect!!

We had a wonderful week at Carlos's house. It was fantastic to look out at the sea while having coffee by the pool every morning. The house is excellently equipped and has everything you need. We were able to use the parasols and surfboards from the garage, so we didn't have to buy or rent anything extra for the beach.Communication with Carlos was also very easy, as he replied within minutes. We also really liked the large, fully equipped kitchen and the pool table in the basement. The only problem we had was the gas grill, which unfortunately didn't get hot enough because the flames were very weak.Nevertheless, it wasn't an issue for us.I would recommend this house to anyone who wants to spend their holiday in a quiet area and be within walking distance of the beach.

I have to thank you Christoph and his team, tehy we fantastic guests. Christoph informed me about the barbecue issue - in fact the barbecue were bough the day before checkin. There was a suggestion for a workarround. After checkout, in the same day, before new guests arrival the technician fixed the problem by replacing the gas adaptor - the pipe inside the adaptor was blocked. The solution was not possible during Christoph and his team stay. Nice group! Always welcome!

Wow! Where do I begin? When my partner and I were looking for a coastal villa within an hour’s drive of Lisbon, we kept returning to Casas da Arriba and we most definitely made the perfect choice! The host, Carlos, was second to none with his communication prior to arriving, and he was most respectful, attentive, thoughtful and obliging. We liked him before we even met him. Carlos greeted us both very warmly on arrival and he was kind enough to let us into the villa a few hours before the official check-in time. His villa is beautiful and it was spotless. It was extremely well equipped so there really was no need to take anything with you other than clothes…and my hair straighteners! Evidently, much care and thought had been put into the comfort and pleasure of the guests. Its location at the top of the hill was perfect for us and the sunsets were stunning. We plan to return next year (something we never do as the world is too small) and if Carlos is selling, he has already sold it!! Thank you, Carlos, for helping to make our short break truly outstanding and memorable for all the best reasons. We can’t recommend your property highly enough and we will definitely see you again in 2027! S&S

Wonderful apartment with the most amazing views from the pool deck

Sensationelle Aussicht

Trotz Corona, perfektes Urlaubserlebnis!
