Fantastic place

We were very happy here. The house is great as per the posting. However we were also very impressed with the beach and town. Lots of wonderful restaurants and not too busy. Close enough to various other interesting places for day trips. Carlos was very nice. Definitely recommend.

An optimal experience in an awesome house. The view is extraordinary, and Carlos makes sure everything is perfect. Carlos and his house were both ideal. He is gracious, responsive, kind, and professional. The house had everything we could need. We have never stayed in a place so well appointed. The location and views were hard to leave. For a family of four, we loved the decks, pool, and pool table. Its a great location to relax, walk to town, surf, or explore the region. Our stay was amazing!! The views are breathtaking and the house is very clean and well-equipped to make you comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The house was perfect for us. We were there for our son’s wedding at the Alta and it was close to the venue. It was very quiet at night and there was no road noise. The bedrooms have patios and you can open the doors and windows for lots of fresh air and ocean views. Carlos was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to take care of us. Our rental car would not start and he helped us arrange for a tow truck and taxi. I would highly recommend staying! 10

Nous avons adoré la villa .. la vue sur l’océan était magnifique . La villa était grande et avec toutes les commodites . La piscine .. super agréable par une belle journée chaude . Je recommande a tous ceux qui veulent habiter sur le bord de l’eau mais pas dans la frénésie de Nazaré .

We are a family of five having just returned from a wonderful holiday. The villa was modern having everything you could possibly need and was immaculately presented. Unfortunately, the photos do not do it justice. There are sea views from every window, not to mention the amazing sunsets! The host Carlos was very welcoming and was available to contact if needed. A big thank you Carlos. We would definitely consider returning at some point in the future.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit Blick

Sehr gepflegtes und stilvolles Ferienhaus mit viel Platz für die ganze Familie. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf den Strand. Der Pool und Terassenbereich sind überschaubar aber vollkommen ausreichend. Sehr netter Gastgeber der stets mit Rat und Tipps zur Seite steht. Wir können das Haus jederzeit empfehlen!

Wonderful apartment with the most amazing views from the pool deck

We just returned from a week at this stunning apartment, which is situated overlooking the beautiful praia de blanca and Lourinha. The apartment was so well presented, with everything we would wish for a great stress free family holiday. Carlos was so friendly and always available to give advise, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week at Casa de Arriba. The house was lovely, extremelly clean really well equipped and with very confortable beads. A really quiteful place where you can rest, but really close to a very nice environment. Wonderful views of the sea. Thank you Carlos and Tina.

Sensationelle Aussicht

Ein wunderschönes Haus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Carlos ist jeder Zeit erreichbar und kümmert sich sehr um seine Gäste. Das Haus war sauber, alles da was man als Selbstversorger braucht. Pool und Billard sind natürlich mit Kindern hilfreich. Das absolute Highlight ist aber natürlich der sensationelle Blick aufs Meer aus allen Zimmern. Der Ort ist klein und gemütlich, perfekt für einen entspannten Urlaub. Trotz Corona, perfektes Urlaubserlebnis!

Hidden Gem

To be fair I was a little dubious as to the location - Atlantic coast as opposed to the Algarve but my doubts were completely wrong. We stayed for 10 days in August and the temperature ranged from 25 to 32°C each day. You do get a bit of sea mist from time to time but for me it adds to the overall experience of Praia da Areia Branca. The village has a number of restaurants and bars which cover a range of cuisines. If you have a car then you will be able to explore the area. If you don't then a taxi trip to Lourinhã is easy to arrange for grocery shops if you are self catering. Casas da Arriba is a beautiful property. Modern throughout with high quality fittings and fixtures. The overall sense is one of understated luxury. The photos posted on the site do not do it credit. The location of the villa gives great views over the coast looking to the south and the peninsular at Peniche is also visible to the north. Finally I have to say a few words about Carlos. Nothing was too much. He was always available at the end of the phone or text and always had a solution for anything that arose - not that much did! He provided us with the number of a local English speaking taxi driver - Mr Ramiro. He was able to recommend restaurants and on our first day even gave us a lift back from the supermarket after a chance meeting there. Carlos is a genuine person and I can only say Muito Obrigado Carlos
