First visit to cyprus

Cyprus is amazing, location amazing and people amazing. The only negative was the outside area of the villa which was so overgrown that we couldn’t use the driveway for our rental car, grass so long that the kids couldn’t play and debris from overhanging trees which also meant that we couldn’t use the umbrellas as they were caked in bird mess and had to clean bird poop from the sun loungers every time we used them

Beautiful Cyprus 23.09. - 11.10.24 6 Personen

Wir bereisen das Land Zypern bereits seit 20 Jahren. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter gestaltete sich völlig unkompliziert und freundlich. Uns wurden per whats app Hinweise zum sicheren Umgang im und am Haus gegeben, die wir befolgten. Unsere übermittelten Wünsche (mehr Besteck, 2 weitere Sonnenliegen) wurden prompt beantwortet, für Abhilfe gesorgt. Der Garten ist schön bewachsen und wird in der gesamten Anlage von einer Firma gepflegt. Leider erscheinen die Arbeiter unangemeldet. Wegen des Lärms (el. Säge und Laubbläser) hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass wir den Termin vorab gewusst hätten. Nahezu täglich wurde eine andere Villa in dieser Area gepflegt. Bei aller Notwendigkeit, ist man im eigenen Urlaub und in dieser Idylle für solche Geräusche auch weniger empfänglich. Der Pool war sauber und wurde gepflegt. Lästig war für uns eine besondere Spezies von Ameisen. Sie hielten sich zum Teil in der Villa (auch im Kleiderschrank eines Schlafzimmers) und auch besonders im Poolbereich auf. Wenn man aus dem Wasser stieg, war man dort, wo die Badebekleidung sitzt, völlig zerbissen. Diese Stellen juckten über Tage und heilten schwer ab. Erstaunt waren wir, dass wir den Betrag für den verbrauchten Strom bei Abreise in bar hinterlassen sollten. Vorschlag paypal. Insgesamt hatten wir eine gute Zeit in der Villa. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die wunderschöne Lage, das eingewachsene Grundstück war für unsere Familie der Grund für die Anmietung und wir würden es wieder tun.
