Casa Monte Cabal is a comfortable, detached, single-storey villa for up to 4 people, with garden and private swimming pool. The house is located in the quiet Spanish village of Sagra, in the beautiful hinterland of the famous coastal town of Dénia, on the Costa Blanca.
This is an ideal place for those seeking peace and quiet, hikers and cyclists. Here you are far away from the massive tourist crowds, and yet only a 20-minute drive from the most beautiful beaches.
About the house:
The house was renovated, painted and completely redecorated in 2022 with new sanitary facilities, new furniture and beds, new Emma mattresses, linen, kitchen utensils, etc etc.
There are two spacious bedrooms, each with 2 box spring beds of 90x200cm. These can easily be placed together for use as a double bed. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and cupboards with drawers. The two bathrooms both have a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet.
The living room has a cozy seating area and a large dining table for six people. There is a modern smart TV with Google Chromecast. From your smartphone or tablet you can easily stream your favorite video services to the television, such as Netflix, or the TV app of your home country. There is a fast and stable fiber optic internet connection (300mb) and the WiFi signal is good throughout the house, including the veranda.
All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans, air conditioning and central heating with radiators. All windows have mosquito screens.
The open kitchen is fully equipped: ceramic hob with extractor hood, no-frost combination refrigerator, dishwasher, convection oven, microwave, toaster, hand blender, kettle, and of course plenty of crockery, pans and cutlery. You can make coffee in the filter machine, or with the Nespresso machine, or in a traditional espresso pot.
On the pool terrace (8x4m) there are four sunbeds with parasol. The naya (veranda) has a 6-person dining table and a gas barbecue to prepare your meal outside on the terrace.
At the back of the house there is a laundry room with washing machine, with a door to the garden. You can hang the laundry on the clothesline behind the house. The shed behind the house can be used to store bicycles.
Important to know:
• A car is necessary to get around the Sagra area.
• Smoking and pets are not allowed.
• Parties are not allowed, and our tenants must respect the peace and quiet in the neighborhood.
• The swimming pool is not fenced, so small children are not allowed on the terrace unsupervised. The use of the swimming pool is at your own risk.
• Check-in upon arrival always takes place between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. and check-out on departure is always before 10am.
About the location:
The house is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of the village of Sagra, close to the road that leads through the valley to Dénia. So you don't have to drive up steep, winding access roads or climb long stairs to get to the house. Parking is available on the street in front of the house, or inside the fence next to the swimming pool. People live in the district permanently all year round, both Spaniards and foreign retirees.
About the area:
Sagra has about 400 inhabitants and is located in the district of “La Marina Alta”. That is the northern part of the Costa Blanca. Behind the village rises an imposing mountain, called “Monte Cabal”. In front, the village is surrounded by orange plantations that extend to the coast. The lively and typical Spanish coastal towns of Dénia and Jávea can be reached in half an hour by car. Further inland, past the village of Orba, begins the famous Jalón valley, also known as "Vall de Pop". The area is a true paradise for walkers and cyclists.
The nearest airports are in Valencia and Alicante, both located more than an hour's drive away.

The nearest supermarket and other shops are a 5-minute drive away in the larger village of Orba. And after 15 minutes via the road towards Dénia you will reach the large indoor shopping center "Portal de la Marina" with, among other things, a Carrefour hypermarket, fashion shops, restaurants, and also a Lidl, Aldi, and Decathlon.
