Ano Petralona is a very popular neighborhood among Greeks for the numerous restaurants and cafes. Apartment is equipped with all the necessary kitchenware to prepare your own breakfast and meals. For those who travel with car there are a lot of parking spaces in the street to park easily and safely. Check in is very easy even in late hours with a lockbox that you can find next to the building entrance and also transfer from the airport can be arranged with a mini bus or a normal car.

Appartment in Petralona

The appartment is at a good location. Close to the centre, but outside the main tourist areas. The kitchen/living area is smaller than you expect based on the pictures.

Near the Acropolis

The location of this apartment is excellent. Close to restaurants and a small market. To get to the Acropolis, we walked less than a quarter mile and were able to enter the Acropolis park. We took path to the main ruins. It is up and down and we should have taken water. Our fault. Our contact, Nikos, was excellent in providing information about the apartment and the check in process. He even sent pictures, e.g. the lock box, the building door, the apartment door, etc. He nicely sent some of the pictures a second time when I asked him about something in the apartment for which he had already provided information. There were ants in the kitchen, which is probably a common problem in Athens. The small couch in the kitchen should probably be replaces as there's a hole at one end. However, the beds were comfortable and the a/c worked very well. We enjoyed our stay there.
