A traditional Grade II listed Georgian townhouse on the High Street in Holt, Mulberry Cottage is a charming combination of a characterful timber framed building with thoughtful touches and funky wallpapers.
The ground floor accommodation includes a beamed sitting room, separate dining room and a well-appointed kitchen, giving groups plenty of space in which to relax. Both the sitting room and the dining room offer Smart televisions, with the sitting room also featuring a spectacular Inglenook fireplace that helps to create a cosy atmosphere in the winter months. Upstairs, three bedrooms have been prepared with white, hotel-standard linens, ensuring a comfortable nights sleep. On the same landing, all rooms are able to access the modern shower room. Please be aware the some of the doorways are low on the ground floor and that the first floor is accessed via a steep Norfolk winder staircase that may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns.
Outside, Mulberry Cottage has a small, enclosed courtyard to the rear that has a dining table and outdoor seating for five people. Being on the High Street, it does not offer roadside parking, however a parking permit is provided for one car to park in the methodist church car park, this is just across the road.
Mulberry Cottage provides easy access on foot to the main shopping areas, within which you will be spoilt for choice with the numerous independent shops, restaurants and cafe's. Great for pre-Christmas trips or for weekends full of retail therapy and fine dining! Within a 15 minute drive, you have wonderful options for days out at the various National Trust properties, including Sheringham Park and Blickling Hall. For coastal options, Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea are also nearby and are especially noted for their wildlife reserves. Great walks through a myriad of habitats can also be enjoyed at Holt Country Park.
