Quiet courtyard in a vibrant area

Brilliant first floor apartment in a quiet leafy private courtyard. Well equiped for a long stay with good sized fridge, stove, cooktop and washing machine. In a lively area full of restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and fruiterers. Great Sunday market a short walk. It’s a great place make home base to see Paris’

A great long stay apartment

We had a lovely stay at Le Loft St. Antoine for the month of July. Here are our pluses and minuses: Pluses: The location is in a quiet cour off the busy main street. It is private and close to Monoprix, Nicolas wine shop, boulangeries and other stores. A metro stop entrance is right across the street. The apartment is large (about 50 sq. m.) and well laid out with a unique bathroom and a separate w-c. In the cour there is almost no direct sun, so the apartment stays comfortable with the windows open. A fan was provided and we used it only to circulate the air. The kitchen is pretty well equipped (see the minus below). Everything worked well and it was a nice to be able to cook meals easily and entertain. The refrigerator is large, the stovetop is gas and 4-burner and the oven is convection. We enjoyed our morning Nespresso coffees. The washing machine is new and with the large drying rack, iron and ironing board it was easy to take care of laundry. Overall, it is perfect for an extended stay for a couple. Minuses: The apartment description listed a blender and a hair dryer. Neither one was there. There is only one sheet and two towels. Although we washed those to keep them fresh, another set would have been convenient. There were no pillowcases. The washing machine had recently been replaced, but the old one had not been taken away and was in a corner of the dining area. In summary, would we stay here again? Absolutely, without hesitation!
